Where was your first travel experience and how has it left a lasting impact on you?
I started traveling at a very young age. I started traveling alone when I was only 10 years old. The first time was an excursion to Kiev, Ukraine. I was impressed by the city, and its architecture and parks. At that point I decided to learn as many foreign languages as possible in order to visit many other countries. Today, whenever I travel, my many language skills help me a lot.

What inspired you to found Job Trust?
The idea to open a recruitment agency was after my first experience with similar agencies when I was looking for a job. It is difficult to find a job, especially for people who are foreigners in a country. We help not only local people but also young people from other countries to find work or internship placements.
What makes Job Trust special?
We treat our applicants in a very personalized manner. We try not to reject a person because he or she does not answer general requirements, but to find the right position for each person. Even the applicants with lower profiles can get a job that is ideal for them.
What does a typical day at work look like for you?
I start with coffee and a short meeting with each of my employees in person. Then I proceed with emails, calls, and other office work.
What is Job Trust’s mission and how do you continue to work toward it?
From the very first day of opening Job Trust we decided not to take money from people looking for a job. All our services are free of charge for the applicants. There is no participation fee, no application fee, no fee for consulting services. We help people to find the right job and build a career.

What challenges do you often face and how do you overcome them?
We are dealing with people and not with things. It is not easy. The same hotel, the same position, the same room could be ideal for one applicant and not acceptable for another applicant. People do not always appreciate our work. But we try to find the same language with every each person and to leave everyone happy.
What is your best piece of advice for an incoming participant?
To be tolerant. Working with Job Trust means working in an international environment. One should learn to communicate and negotiate with people with different backgrounds and different mentalities.
Why should someone choose Job Trust over competitors?
We do whatever we promise to do. There are no tricks in our advertisement campaign. Before hiring, the applicant is informed about every single detail about his or her future job. We do not have any commission for applicants. We do not stop at the stage when we found a job for someone. We have 24-hour support for the whole duration of working contract and resolve any kind of problems with the employers which might occur.
Do you have anything exciting or new placements in the works for 2020?
Apart of job positions that we have each year in hotels in Greece, we run the new job portal where applicants can find more than 2,000 vacancies in different industries all over Europe and other places.
