What led you to join the team at Say Hueque?
I traveled around the world for two years and during my trip I realized how important is for people to have a perfect trip with a lot of different experiences. When I was back home, I decided to be the person who advises others to see my country and learn about our culture.

Can you tell us about the work you do on a daily basis?
I help people to design and organize their trip, my goal is to optimize the time they have available to travel through Argentina and South America, so they can experience all of the places they dreamed of traveling to.

You’ve been working in tourism for seven years. What inspired you to work in this field?
To be honest, at the beginning I had no idea what it was about. When I had my first work experience, I realized that working in tourism requires a key attribute: vocation of service. It requires a lot of work to understand and interpret what type of travel a person dreams of in order to make it a reality. Maybe a person has spent days, weeks, or months imagining themselves standing there in front of the Iguazu Falls or the Perito Moreno Glacier, doing rafting in Mendoza, or learning about the culture of the northern Argentine people. Being able to fulfill that desire and having people come back happy from each trip is what inspires me to do this work.
How does your own international experience influence the work you do?
First of all, my English improved a lot since I traveled. It has also made me realize how rich my country is in culture and landscapes.

What inspired you to go abroad?
I dreamed about international experiences since I was little. When I was 23 I decided to make it real—I had nothing to lose and a world to see.
In what ways do you help people design their trips to Argentina?
I think many people comes to Argentina without knowing exactly how the things work here. They don’t realize how big our country is or how many days they need to see all what they want. That s is why I am here for, to help them and advise them based not only in my knowledge but also in my experience, as I traveled to almost all the places that we offer.
What does meaningful travel mean to you?
I believe that a meaningful trip is one that meets the expectations of the person who is traveling. Each trip is personal and subjective. We do not all have the same objectives or expect the same from each destination. A person can be happy visiting all the museums in the city or learning about history, and another can be happy seeing many beautiful landscapes and enjoying nature.
I, personally, very much enjoy the landscapes.
Do you think it is important for people to travel and experience new cultures?
Of course! “The world is a book, and those who don't travel only read one page.” - Augustine of Hippo.

What do you love about Argentina that you couldn’t find in other places you’ve traveled to?
The warmth and good energy of people. The importance of family and friends throughout our popular culture. The value that Argentines give to all what it has to do with sharing: share an “Asado” (barbecue), share a “Mate” (National infusion/drink), a dinner, a beer, a talk.
If you could go on any trip with Say Hueque, where would you go and why?
I will definitely go to Patagonia: El Calafate, El Chalten, Torres del Paine, Ushuaia. I love the mountains and nature, and those are perfect places to enjoy those things.
