Originally from New Jersey, Sofia went to Oberlin College, where she majored in Hispanic studies. After graduation, she wanted to spend some time in Latin America, so she applied for a Fulbright Grant in Argentina and was lucky enough to be placed in Buenos Aires, which she fell in love with. Sofia is currently completing her MA degree in culture and arts management, while eating great quantities of banana split ice cream in her spare time.
