Danielle Morrissette studied abroad in Moscow and St. Petersburg while studying at Smith College where she studied Russian literature and history. After completing her undergraduate degree, she worked in Warsaw then pursued her master’s program in history at Central European University in Budapest where she met her husband. She now lives and works in Kyiv, Ukraine and publishes occasionally for the historical journal Ab Imperio.
