I will never be able to thank Zentern enough!! In 1 month they changed my life. First of all, what struck me at the beginning pushing me to rely on them was the incredible care and attention of Noa, Satomi and all the other staff, to every question, concern and wish of mine. They always answered me very quickly providing detailed information so I always felt very assured and cuddled. The first interview I had with the Zentern staff confirmed all my expectations and I was more than enthusiastic in applying for an internship with Zentern. They perfectly understood my background and needs, and they planned the interview with the Japanese company most suitable for me. It all began in September and now I am doing the internship within the company I like most! I am learning so many things and I am improving my Japanese as well. It hasn’t passed a week yet, but - unlike most internships - they encourage you to do research and submit proposals and your ideas. It’s fantastic!! I definitely recommend Zentern!!

My experience with Zentern was great, my goal was to stay in Japan and they found a company that was willing to hire. After 3 month I got offered a full time position. From the beginning the communication was fast and reliable, moving to another country is never an easy process but the Zentern team was always there to help. They got me an internship with a e-commerce company, where I got to put in practice my business/marketing degree. If you don’t speak Japanese like I did you don’t need to worry too much as they will make sure to find an English friendly environment. Zentern also organises a few events for all the interns, in order to get to know each other. This was awesome and made my stay in Japan even more enjoyable. If you want to do an internship, gain experience, have fun while in Japan and potentially stay here, I definitely recommend Zentern.

My internship supervisor was very friendly and communicative. The work I was given helped me work on all aspects of the business. I could never get bored, and I was constantly learning. Through my internship through Zentern with Rigel Jewelry, I’ve been able to have a small taste of what it’s like working in advertising and social media, ultimately organizing and executing a 2 day jewelry photoshoot. While my typical day varied as the photoshoot planning progressed, I was trusted with ample creative freedom and responsibility which allowed me to grow in confidence and take ownership of the projects that I worked on. In the beginning, most of my work involved research via instagram and pinterest on different jewelry photography trends and concepts. When I presented my findings and how I thought these ideas could be incorporated into Rigel Jewelry’s own marketing to the jewelry company owner, to my pleasant surprise, he left practically all of the creative decisions up to me. This trend continued as I shopped for props, found models and a location, and even on the day of the photoshoot, most decisions were left up to me. While it was overwhelming having so much responsibility for the first time, it was also empowering and helped me build both confidence and a sense of personal accountability for the project which I think are valuable principles to carry into any job or school environment. Though getting work experience is of course valuable, don't forget to enjoy your time in Japan! There are so many interesting people and places so have fun! While internships sometimes get a bad reputation for being boring or not as exciting as other summer activities, my internship had the perfect mixture of fun and work.

My internship was an amazing experience that allowed me to grow in many ways. My mentors were very kind and gave me time to become familiar with the workspace, and allowed me to work on projects that I was passionate about. I ended up making a lot of progress and completing the project I was assigned in the given time. I learned that it is important to get to know your mentors and colleagues well because they can assist you in many different ways and feel more welcome. Also, make sure that you are having fun, and spending your time working on something that you are interested in is a big role in how well the internship goes.

I found this internship to be a very good experience for me. As a had a lot of time over the summer, I think that it allowed me to be very productive and learn new skills. Finding the internship for me was a very smooth process as I was accepted to the first place that I interviewed at. Then internship overall was also very easy as the people at Haloworld were able to give me tasks that were just to my level. Even though I did run into some technical issues, I think that I was able to help the company with a new robot that they were creating. I was not sure that to expect when I first signed up for this internship but I was very happy with how it turned out. If you did this all over again, what's one thing you would change? I would not have tried to learn ROS in about two weeks because programing languages and not that easy to learn. Even though I was able to make a few programs, it might have been more beneficial to have started to build the robot from the start. Nevertheless, I think that I will be able to apply the skills that I learned in Ros sometime in the future.

The initial experience with Zentern and the proces of finding an internship went very well, there was a lot of contact and they listened to my requests very well. They found two possible companies for me to choose from, I decided for the first one and I wasn’t disappointed. Japan is a super interesting country to do an internship. When living in Tokyo you really get to know how Japan is, instead of being a tourism where you only get a glimpse of Japan and see mostly the touristy places. Don’t waste a single day in Tokyo, there is more than enough to do in the city to not get bored for years.

Completed an online internship through Zentern. They found something within a few weeks and I was very happy how smooth the process was. By interning online, I knew it would be difficult to meet the whole team but I got to meet a few people through online events and was in touch with my supervisor daily. Even without being at the office, I was able to get a few skills and realized that it doesn't matter where you do the work, it is how you do it and if you can do it. Honestly it was a small investment and a huge return for me, career and education-wise. Happy I did this and very happy with Zentern and their support.

My experience was quite unique since I worked in a very small company in direct contact with my employer. He was incredibly helpful in sharing all of his insights about the job to make me grow more confident each day and by the end of the internship he offered me the position of English teacher in his school. The support from the program made my stay smooth and comfortable and the group of interns provided me with a network to socialize in the free time. In conclusion It was a great opportunity all around. Come to Japan ready to get out of your comfort zone and you will have the time of your life. Give your best during the working hours but don’t be afraid ask for help and point out things that aren’t working for you. Lastly have fun in your free time, experiment and take advantage of the possibility to go out with other interns to form some great relationships.

Because of COVID-19, my plans to study in Japan for this fall semester fell through and I needed to find an online internship to do instead so I applied to Zentern. They were brilliant! They found me a brilliant internship with a media and marketing agency based in Tokyo quickly, they provided support during the interview process and during the internship. My internship supervisor was very friendly and communicative. The work I was given helped me work on all aspects of the business. I could never get bored, and I was constantly learning. I do want to complete another internship with Zentern, and this time I would like to attend in person rather than remotely, once the travel restrictions are lifted.

I started my internship in the beginning of October at an international media company. The internship was all online and had flexible hours allowing me to combine my school work with my internship. At first I was not very convinced on how this would be a good work experience but after a quick meeting with Zentern and their staff, a virtual internship in Japan would be the best option for me and glad I did apply! Just a big shout out to Terry from Zentern who guided me through everything. Zentern offers the best value in terms of prices and what kind of experience you get. They check in with you and offer fun virtual events. I joined a Japanese tea ceremony and was amazed how much fun it was and how much I learned. Through my internship I learned more about video / audio editing, storytelling and marketing. Usually I would communicate with my supervisor Nakamura-san or Josh who would share all the video material with me to work on. I was confident with my Adobe Suite skills but learned more than I thought I would in a short time. Some weeks I was busy for many days and hours while other weeks were a bit quieter. For an online internship you need to be able to have fairly good time-management skills to plan in the work and finish by the given deadline. Luckily my internship was pretty relaxed and they made sure they didn't overwhelm me with too much workload so I could focus on school too. I am surprised how smooth it went and how much fun it was. In the end I extended it by 4-weeks so I will work until the end of this year hoping to be able to fly to Japan next Summer or Winter 2021 for a physical internship. I know it is hard to visualize an online internship and you might be worried on how to combine this with school or free time but trust me, it is super easy. Companies understand that this is a learning experience and will sit down with you to discuss a work method that is most efficient and time-friendly for both parties. I learned that this is a super valuable, cheap and easy-to-get experience. I feel more confident and as many, wish I did it earlier.

As most of you, I planned to go to Thailand through Global & Virtual Internships. But after waiting for weeks, flying overseas didn't seem possible due to the pandemic. The GVI team kept me up to date and gave me a choice of either a full refund or switch to an online internship. Still wanting the work experience, I choose for the latter. GVI set me up with a company in Bangkok where I was able to continue my internship in the design field. I assisted with photo and video editing, improved their website and helped out with several marketing campaigns. The company was within the digital marketing field and communication was mainly in English. My plans now are to come over for an in-person internship in 2021 to join the team and live in Bangkok for several months! I just want to say thanks to GVI for being so accommodating and helping me find something in my field amidst the pandemic!

My university's program got cancelled due to COVID19 so was looking for other programs to join. At first I didn't think about Japan but found Zentern and thought their services fit what I was looking for. Doing something completely different felt very refreshing and worth it so I signed up. Within a week or so Zentern found me an online internship at a local Japanese import and export company. My boss was fluent in English and we met every other day or so through Zoom. She made sure I was given different types of tasks such as translation, contacting new clients or communicating with current clients. After some weeks she allowed me to run a few meetings with our clients because we were in the same timezone. I helped out with product preparations, creating brochures and learning more about how to work and communicate professionally. Of course I wish I could be in Fukuoka but even without being in the office, I felt I was given enough trust and responsibilities. I'm glad I could use my summer holiday to get some work experience through Zentern. The Zentern team responses very quickly, the people are very nice and understand what you're looking for. They'll check in with you to see how you're doing AND online Japanese lessons were included. We also had a few online seminars about how to utilize this internship experience, Japanese work culture and an e-meetup with other interns. All in all, I had a really good time and might do this again soon!

Hello, I’m Milo from Australia and just interned in Japan through Zentern early 2020. I am a Computer Science major and interned with an IT firm in Osaka. I’ve been to Japan before and was doubting between Osaka, Fukuoka or Okinawa. In the end I chose Osaka because I knew my way around and prefer smaller cities. My internship waas awesome. I didn’t have much work experience before but my boss Kuroki-san and colleagues were great. We mainly communicated in English and I was able to fully assist the team to develop custom-made software for one of our clients. The client was a big international firm so being fluent in English and being able to code was a perfect skill haha. People in Osaka are friendly and it was super easy to make friends. I actually planned going back this July but due to the pandemic my plans were cancelled. And that’s why I can’t recommend Zentern enough, instead of going to Japan I am currently working with another IT firm in Japan through their virtual internship program. Zentern has been great, they’re fast, reliable and take the time to get to know you. Prices were much cheaper too and I felt they had better relations with many Japanese companies. My coordinator in Osaka has been living here for a long time so he took us out to his favorite spots and places. The activities were fun too. I was finally able to visit Arashiyama and Uji. In doubt, just reach out to Zentern and see what your options are. Like everyone is saying you really got nothing to lose, only gain! Due to the pandemic my study abroad got cancelled. I like my summer holiday but felt I should work on my resume as well because I am graduating next year. Through my friend I found Zentern and within 1 week or so I could get started as a Media Intern with a company located in Japan. My manager was very nice and she always made sure I had some work to do. I helped out with video editing, some graphic designs and research. They gave me a recommendation letter and reference as well. I wish I could go over and meet the team but I felt like I was part of the team thanks to how much we communicated online and through Google meets. At first I didn't expect much but I really enjoyed having something to do during the day. I could plan my day how I liked and know that in the future, I will look for a job in media that preferably has perks like working from home! The Zentern team was very helpful and friendly. They exactly understood what I was looking for and felt their programs really have good quality compared to the others. Also, an internship for 500 euro was a very good investment for me. It's cheaper than the other programs I found online. I am actually thinking also to do another one during Christmas break but then shorter (4 weeks or so instead of 8). Thanks Zentern. Prices with Zentern were cheaper and the service sounded much better than other companies. Communication with Zentern and my company went great too. I requested an internship within UI/UX and graphic design and got a placement within a week or so. Due to my school projects, I had a portfolio ready so I was given several task such as designing our client's website which was a good challenge. I also did photo editing and made our company's website easier to navigate. I didn't expect to learn so much. It felt like an online course but with much more responsibilities and opportunities. It was so worth it! Still busy wrapping up my internship and planning to fly over to Japan next summer. Thanks Zentern team and see you next year!

My online internship was better than I expected! Zentern was able to find me an internship placement in digital marketing. It was a branding and advertising company located in Tokyo. I was partly in charge of their social media and research. I helped out with researching and analyzing different brands and countries our clients would like to launch their products in. For social media, they allowed me to create several marketing campaigns as well which was very exciting. The time difference was a bit difficult at some times but we always had a fixed meeting time and date where my internship roles would be discussed and where my work would be reviewed. I was able to work on my time-management skills and sometimes it felt like the office was just a few blocks away instead of another country! Maybe you are doubting whether or not to do it but just go for it! To me, this is the best way of getting work experience! I feel the team members at Zentern really know what you are looking for. I am 19 and I come from Hong Kong. Though I haven't graduated from the university yet, I am always panicking about not being competitive and my knowledge at the moment is way not enough to fulfil the requirements of my future employers. My university provides 1 and a half month semester break in between two semesters, so I decided not to waste it and find something to enhance myself. Finding a suitable internship agency is hard. Not only does it need to be professional, but it also need to meet up my own expectations. Hi everyone! My name is Kajal. I am a 21-years-old IT-student from the Netherlands. I have been in Tokyo for 5 months now. This experience wouldn't be possible if it weren't for Zentern. As a 21-year-old student with no work experience in my field it is really hard to find an internship abroad. I almost thought of giving up, because it was really hard to find something. I did my internship in Tokyo in an event company as a space designer. It was really interesting and I had improve many software skills and digital draw skills. It was a good experience to learn more about a completely different culture and also to start learning Japanese too. I discovered many amazing places in Tokyo and all around Japan, some places, landscapes and some habit that you can see only in Japan. It was so fun to meet new awesome people from all around the world, to work with them or partying with them. I hope to come back in Japan soon.

Hello, this is the first time I did an internship online (I had some work experience before but not anything professional) and wasn't sure what to expect. I am in international relations and marketing and was interested in a marketing internship. Within 2-weeks or so, Zentern found me a great placement with a web design studio. I was able to choose from a few places and with their help and assistance, found the perfect work environment. My team was very international and we communicated in English. I worked on several marketing campaigns for our clients and felt 4-weeks wasn't enough so I extended my internship to 8-weeks. My clients were mostly in Japan so the timezone difference would work out perfectly. I was able to finish work before people in Japan start their day giving us a head start. I'm thinking of doing another online internship again soon through Zentern because school will be mostly online from the new semester onwards. I feel this is a great way to improve my resume and to discover what I would like to do after I graduate. My advise to everyone is to just do it! It's a really simple and easy process and your placement is guaranteed anyway :)! Good luck!!

I just finished my software internship with a Japanese company. At first I had doubts about joining and wasn't sure if I will be given enough job tasks to count it as an internship but as soon as I started, my manager gave me several responsibilities right away such as testing, developing apps, writing / correcting code, etc.. I was busier than I thought and communicating with my team online wasn't a problem at all. I felt I learned a lot of new things and the Zentern Team was always checking in to see how I was doing. Hi, I just finished my online internship in Japan through Zentern. My university cancelled all programs and due to corona I can't go on holiday. Zentern has been great from the start helping me find the perfect remote internship in Japan. I worked for an international research company where I assisted the business development manager and marketing manager. In the beginning I was a bit hesitant because I didn't know what to expect and how it would work due to the time differences but both Zentern and my host company made sure I felt part of the team and had several projects to work on. Next year I am planning to conduct an actual internship in Japan and can't wait to meet my co-workers then! If you are thinking of doing an internship, a remote internship might be the best way to get started! I learned SO much in such a short time and the whole internship process was all so easy and simple. Zentern was really fast confirming an internship in the field that I wanted.

My internship was mainly focused on marketing and PR-related tasks. I had to promote our financial services through online media and direct marketing. We would organize several network events. I don’t speak Japanese but managed to book a venue and catering by myself. I had to create invitations and online promotions as well. My supervisor and co-workers helped me out a lot. Through work I made great connections and am still in touch with some of my housemates. I couldn’t have done this without Intern in Japan’s help; thanks guys.

The whole internship and culture experience in Japan was just amazing. In the beginning I was so hesitant and had several online meetings with Zentern. The Zentern staff were so accommodating and understood what was best for me. It was my first time to Japan so 4-weeks sounded enough but I am glad I signed up for the 12-week program instead. Time really flies! The program itself was great from the beginning until the end. Zentern is there for you but also gives you enough space to explore and experience Japan by yourself. My internship couldn't be better. Even though it was a huge international company, I learned so much from my co-workers and boss. They would take me to client meetings, network events and introduced me to the whole department. We had a welcome and farewell dinner with everyone. Work hours were normal and there were so many lunch places near our office, I went out everyday - food in Japan is awesome!! During my internship I learned much more about project management, Japanese trade regulations and how to interact on a professional level. It gave me more insight in what I'd like to do after I graduate. Also, the housing was great. I got so many options to choose from and most of my housemates were Japanese. We organized our own movie and dinner nights and my room was a bit small but comfy and safe! I have checked with so many (!) other internship providers and would like to save you time and effort: go with Zentern - the staff has also interned in Japan and they really know all the ins-and-outs of Tokyo and the hardships of moving to another country. I made so many new friends and the whole experience was just something I never imagined. The staff always was in touch with me (and all other interns) and made sure I had a good time. The internship match was perfect too! Thank you!

I applied at Zentern to do a marketing internship in Tokyo, the selections process was very smooth! Arriving in Japan for the first time was quite scary and exciting at the same time! Luckily, the Zentern staff gave me a warm welcome and doing fun activities with other interns made making friends a lot easier. For example, we would go to the digital art museum, night aquarium and other fun events! The marketing internship was quite challenging and helped me to grow from a student into a young professional. I was assisting the marketing director with market research, attending events, prospecting and other digital marketing activities. My intern company allowed me to take online Japanese lessons three hours per week which resulted in a conversational level at the end of the internship. I would definitely invest some time in learning the Japanese language this makes the experience more authentic!

This summer I completed my internship. It was a great experience where I got to work closely with the CEO everyday. I was a content creator so I take photography and video of events and other activities that is hosted by my company. Zentern has guided me from the first to the last steps, there are weekly activities. Also when I got to Japan they gave me a train pass, a sim-card, a goodie bag and general guidelines on how to live in Tokyo. Zentern has always been there for me since the start. As advise, learn about the transportation system when you get here. There's the bus, trains and metros and they all go to different places and have different prices. It's usually cheaper than other countries. If you go to Tokyo, try to go to ever part of Tokyo, every small station is different (Shibuya is so different compared to Shinagawa) so there is so much different things to do during the day.

At first, I was quite worried about going to another country alone and not knowing the language but the Zentern team helped me with all the first steps to start my internship with confidence and to have a pleasant stay in Tokyo. They helped me to find a convenient accomodation, a sim card and to understand the public transportation. I stayed for five months and never got bored. The team organized every weekend different events around tokyo with other interns. It was nice to know not only japanese people but also from all around the world and to learn their different cultures. Whenever I had questions or problems, Zentern was easy to contact and always wanted to help me. I can say going to Tokyo was one of the best decisions that I have ever made.

I was only in Tokyo for a month and I keep wishing I had come for longer because there is so much to see and do. I really wanted an opportunity to step out of my comfort zone this summer, and Zentern helped me achieve exactly that. My internship placement was amazing, and I was given the opportunity to work with and learn from like-minded people. Additionally, I have picked up a ton of new skills that will benefit me in the coming school year, as well as in the future, career wise. I am also happy to have made friends in the office and with other Zentern interns. The activities planned by Zentern were a lot of fun and pushed me to explore different areas of Tokyo and discover new interests. I was very nervous about navigating around Tokyo because I do not speak Japanese, but found people were very helpful whenever I got lost. The highlight of my trip was the food and I am so happy to have tried so many new things and discover new favorite foods. I wish I could do it all over again!

My experience with Zentern was fantastic. From the very beginning of the process I felt well taken care of and I was really encouraged to follow my passion and make the most of my time in Japan. I had been to Japan before, but I really didn't need any Japanese or any previous experience of living abroad -- I got the sense that if I had needed help, I definitely would have got all the support I needed. The internship itself was very fulfilling and I was allowed to come in as much as I wanted (which suited me, because I wasn't there for that long and wanted to make the most of my time in Japan). My day-to-day tasks were varied and because I was working in a small company, I was given a level of responsibility that I hadn't experienced in previous positions. The accommodation they found for me was clean and safe. Tokyo is also surprisingly affordable! All in all, I had a wonderful time with Zentern and would recommend it to anyone who is at college/university (or has just left, like me!) and is looking to get valuable work experience.

I had a lovely time working in Tokyo. The people I met and the company I was paired with could not have been a better fit for me. My co-workers and everyone at Zentern were amazing! I was responsible for some of the company's User Interface Design, Graphic Design, User Experience, Mobile App UI, Web Design and became more proficient with Wordpress, Sketch, and Principle. I was also able to learn basic Japanese. I learned a lot in a short amount of time and was able to practice my design skills daily and my coworkers were people who became my friends. I would go back in a heartbeat. I came during the end of summer and the heat was often difficult to get past when commuting to work due to the summer season. The neighborhood I stayed in was safe and vibrant, there is so much to do in Tokyo and shops stay open until 9 or 10pm. My internship was one of the most amazing experiences in my life. Going to Japan has helped change how I view the world and what I want to do for a career. Zentern helped me find something that I had no idea I would fall in love with. Working in Tokyo is an experience that is something that I will remember for the rest of my life. During my internship I was tasked with working on orders, finding new products all around Tokyo for the store, photography for the company, and working on advertising as well. I became much more skilled on using Photoshop, figuring out what type of advertisements helped sell the most products, and the ability to navigate a city in a foreign country where I did not know the language. The memories I created in Japan were truly profound in how I go about my daily life. If given the chance to work in Japan again I would go in a heartbeat. The activities organized by Zentern were some of the most amazing things that I experienced while in Japan. Zentern provides opportunities that do not seem tangible, but they make your dreams come true when you go to Japan. The Zentern team was one of the best things about going to Japan. They organized trips for the interns that were an absolute blast. We went to Mt. Fuji one weekend and it was all possible because of them. My bucket list had several things checked off of it because of Zentern The team is always there to help guide you and offer assistance no matter what. Zentern helped give me the experience of a lifetime. The memories I created over in Japan helped me evolve as a person a made my thirst for exploration even larger. I believe that Zentern really changed how I view the world and can't thank them enough for making my dream of working in Japan a reality. If you have the opportunity to use Zentern I highly recommend you do it. You will make memories that will last you a lifetime and it will not only help you professionally, but also personally. Going to Japan is something that I will always carry with me and it was all thanks to Zentern.

My internship was fantastic! I was an Animator, illustrator and graphic designer for a firm in Tokyo. My boss was kind and friendly as well as giving me actual work to do for there company rather then just being the coffee runner! It helped my confidence soar and grow confident whilst being in Japan. Working in Japan also helped a lot with my Japanese and by the end of the internship I was able to confidently speak, read and write Japanese! Some advice for future interns: Applying to work in Japan can be a pretty scary thing- on your first few weeks there will definitely be some challenges with language barriers and a little bit of frustration that you can understand everything around you. But be brave! In the end you will pick up so much Japanese just being in Japan and before you know it you will be living like a local.

After reviewing countless Japanese internship placement companies, I had finally chosen to go with Zentern. Every interview I had with Noa provided me with even more information and really made me feel excited to come to Japan. There were Japanese lessons that I was able to take in order to enrich my experience here, as well as trips organized to Kamakura, which is great for anyone interested in the rich history Japan has to offer. Regardless of what your interests are, Japan has it all covered. The company that Noa set me up with was smaller and allowed me a great perspective on what start up companies are like. I was able to get to know the CEO very well and was able to learn a lot from him and see what starting a company in Japan as a foreigner is really like. I wish I could stay longer, but thanks to my internship organized by Zentern, I have made the decision to obtain my MBA in Japan. This experience is one I will never forget, and I am so happy I am able to use it to build my future professional career.

Working with Zentern was wonderful. The main coordinator, Noa Aziz, was friendly, flexible, and fun at every turn. I was looking for a summer internship that would allow me to really learn about the culture of Japan, and due to my lack of Japanese language knowledge, I ended up interning for a small English school in Tokyo. I loved working with the kids and my supervisor was excellent, offering me tips and cultural tidbits all the time. Having worked a number of office jobs in the past, having more interpersonal work was refreshing. The field trips Zentern organized were also stellar, ranging from downtown walks in Shibuya to historical tours of Kamakura. Ultimately, the best part of interning abroad is immersing yourself fully in a location. Explore nonstop - that's what I did for 7 weeks, and I'll never regret it. Japan is brimming with history, boasts one of the safest environments in the world, and has a unique way of life worth experiencing firsthand. The intercultural experience is really priceless. The only thing that could have made this internship better was having more Japanese language knowledge on my part. It's perfectly possible to get by without knowing a word of Japanese, but so many more opportunities open up when you do!

I decided to come to Japan to expand my curriculum vitae, restricted to Europe and the Middle East. I needed help, because I don’t speak the language and I didn’t know Japan at all, so what I needed was a contact in Tokyo that it could arrange my internship in a short time; so I decided to lean on “Zentern” to look into the Japanese labor market and to have a firsthand look to Japan economics, politics and culture. My choice has been truly fitting! The staff (Noa in the specific) is extremely qualified, knowledgeable and always available, especially for those who like me do not speak the language at all and never been to Japan before. I did not have any problems with both the internship and with the city, mainly thanks to Noa. Work has been fruitful and has helped me build solid skills that I can use in the future. Undoubtedly my experience in Tokyo has been positive in all possible ways, I feel like advising anyone interested in doing a work experience in this city to contact “Zentern”. You will not be disappointed.

In a very short period of time, Zentern allowed me to get a computer science internship in a brand news Japanese startup! This signed the beginning of my very first time going and living in Tokyo! I already knew that going to Japan would be great. However, I didn't expect such a fantastic journey over there! Once here, I enjoyed many many things such as learning how Japanese people work , how they celebrate various work-related events (hanami too!), when and why one can use Japanese greetings ( おつかれさまです、行ってきます，行ってらしゃい！) and a lot more. Oh! And I think that the staff @ Zentern is just pure gold. They set up events and guide us through nice places that can be hard to find or fully enjoy on our own. They also really care about us (how we feel, how is the integration and such) as well as making sure we have everything we need. In my opinion, people at Zentern are really cool, chill and nice. Oh, and classy too :). I am really grateful to Zentern for the huge opportunity they enabled me to seize and that happened to be one of the richest experience in my life. In overall, I am really delighted that I did obtain what I wanted the more, which is: discovering a rich diversity of foods and social behaviors as well as lovely places & people!

Interning in Japan was one of the best experiences I've ever had. From start to finish the Zentern program was incredibly supportive and eased the process of interning in a foreign country. The program offered constructive resume and interview tips and feedback along with ensuring you an internship placement and helping you find accommodations if needed. Not only that but the program holds events and day trips so you can meet other interns and network, but more importantly just have fun! Interning in Japan is an amazing experience, and is an opportunity for anyone looking to try something new. Even if you don't know fluent Japanese and don't plan on living in Japan, it will be a memorable experience and surely enhance your resume. Moreover, just living in Tokyo is an experience in and of itself. There is so much to do and see in the city and its nearby surroundings. Overall, I would highly recommend this program. It's a great experience for anyone.

Zentern provided excellent service from start to finish! From the first skype consultation, I knew I was in good hands with Noa. Zentern provided my internship placement, housing placement, and all kinds of advice during my three months. I was able to make friends with other interns who were brought in from Intern in Japan, too! Zentern holds various events through the year, such as day trips and walking tours, so there's always an opportunity to explore Tokyo with someone experienced. Tokyo is full of amazing things to do... like owl cafes! I couldn't recommend this program enough. It jump started my career out of college, and because of my experience with my internship, I even landed a full-time job in Japan!

My month in Japan was absolutely fantastic and I wish I could have stayed longer. I’m glad that I applied through Intern in Japan as both Noa and Taku were helpful, friendly and supportive, which not only made this experience possible but also facilitated my stay in Tokyo. Even though I’ve been to Tokyo several times in the past, living there as more of a local rather than a tourist allowed me to view the city and people in an entirely different light. Unfortunately Noa wasn’t present in Tokyo when I was there, but even so she kept in contact with me throughout and even after my trip to make sure that everything was alright. Taku, who met with us instead of Noa, was just as amiable and accommodating. I’m thankful for this overall experience, as not only did I have an amazing time but it also influenced my decision to apply to graduate schools in Tokyo so hopefully I will be able to return and live there soon. I definitely recommend Zentern and I hope that everyone will have just as positive an experience as I did.

It was one of the best experiences I have ever had. Zentern gives an amazing support to find a suitable internship for anyone. I got my internship within two weeks prior travel. The support from Zentern during the internship was not as good as before the internship but still overall good. The internship in "deVere Group" itself was amazing. I got a chance to experience almost all aspects of the company, and had the chance to talk to real clients. I recommend an Zentern for anyone because it is a life experience.

I had a wonderful experience in Tokyo with the help of the team from Zentern. Noa skillfully guided me through every step of the application process and continuously checked up on me throughout my stay in Japan, even after my departure. The other member of the Zentern team, Taku, was always available to meet up in Tokyo during my internship and provide any assistance I might need. Tokyo is a wonderful and incredibly exciting city - despite jam-packing my days with activities for over a month, I still hope to return and keep ticking things off of my bucket list. The food is amazing, the sights are beautiful and the people are truly friendly and helpful, even if, like me, you barely speak a word of Japanese. I would definitely recommend visiting and working as an intern in Japan, and would encourage you to contact Zentern to have an experience that is as positive and memorable as mine was.

The experience I had living and working in Japan was great. I wasn't used to working everyday and struggles the first weeks. But I got used to it rather quickly and didn't expect to learn about so many new things. Social life was amazing, I made new friends while living in the shared house. I'm glad I signed up for this program, I am glad I invested in my future and received the proper support from Zentern. I would do it all over again if I could!

I was actually worried about coming to Japan to do an internship because I don't speak Japanese well and didn't know how things worked there. But their team made me feel welcome with their consulting and their smooth placement process. Choosing to stay at a shared house, I was able to meet new people to explore the city with. I definitely recommend this program to other people!

This was my first time in Japan and will definitely not be my last time! I've met awesome people and really enjoyed my internship at an international IT company that expanded my network en connections around the world. I learned a bit of Japanese during my stay. The support of Zentern was very helpful, they organised several gatherings with other interns and locals. We went out for dinner and drinks and made some good friends along the way. You should try Okonomiyaki which is my favorite food :).

I joined Zentern this February and will complete my Graphic Design internship in July. Up until now everything has been fantastic! After having a consultation with Zentern I was convinced that an internship was the best option for me as I have always been interested in the Japanese culture. There is a lot of competition in the design field and I needed something unique. Zentern picked the right company for me right away which I am very thankful for! At the moment I am enjoying and learning something new everyday. My co-workers are very helpful and I am busy designing a new website for a Japanese cosmetic company. I met up with some other interns through Zentern’s gatherings and field trips. I’ve already decided that I will come back to look for a job after graduation. I am very thankful and happy I made this step, I have the feeling I learned so much more than I ever would in class! Without Zentern this might not have been possible at all!

I would like to thank Zentern and my supervisors for this amazing experience. I am majoring in IT and Business at the moment. Zentern found me an internship in Tokyo at a venture IT-company. I was in charge of developing mobile application and helped out with some software engineering. Because my major is in Business as well, my supervisors also wanted me to help out with the market strategies and promotions of these products. I developed great skills in communication and marketing and improved my coding skills. I exactly know what I would like to do after I graduate and can't thank Zentern enough for their assistance. I was a bit nervous prior to arrival and during my first week but they always took good care of me by taking us out for dinner and some trips (we went to Kamakura, Odaiba and Saitama!). The housing was great too, I made a lot of friends in a short time. I definitely recommend everyone this program!

I had an amazing time in Tokyo! I Definitely recommend Zentern. It was my first time in Japan and the support I received from the staff made it alot more accessible and easier, especially in the beginning. My internship was at an IT company as a marketing intern. I had to promote a new app through online channels and events held on Tokyo. My boss took me to several meetings with partners and we sometimes went out for drinks after work. This program definitely made me realize what I want to do after I graduate and I'm sure this valuable experience will help me to achieve my career goals.
