Program Overview

Dive into a captivating experience for all wildlife lovers! This program is open to volunteers and interns.

The placement is in a wildlife sanctuary in the Greater Kruger National Park in South Africa. You will accompany female rangers in their work against poaching, help the team monitor the lives of animals and plants, and participate in all the tasks in the reserve. You will also support research projects. You will live in a bush camp with other volunteers in the middle of nature.

During your stay, you will join the team members of the reserve and the anti-poaching unit on their daily patrols for 5-6 days per week. You will spend most of your time outdoors and will have the opportunity to encounter and observe animals in their natural habitat. Your daily tasks vary depending on how long you stay and the team's daily priorities.

Your daily tasks include:
- Clearing roads, repairing signs, etc.
- Removing invasive plant species
- Removing traps from poachers
- Monitoring of animal and plant populations
- Joining research activities and collecting data

Accommodation: You will live in a simple rustic chalet in a bush camp in the middle of the game reserve.
