Medical Shadowing in Buenos Aires

LATIDOS is a four-week medical shadowing program in Buenos Aires for pre-med students seeking clinical exposure during an academic break. Participants complete approximately 20 hours of hospital observation per week at FLENI, an internationally recognized neuroscience institution, with guided learning and reflection. Depending on hospital availability, students may observe areas such as neurology, diagnostics, emergency care, physiatry, and rehabilitation. By seeing how physicians reason, communicate, and collaborate in another healthcare system, students gain perspective for future studies, interviews, and medical school applications.
