Travel to Costa Rica this summer for a teen community service program you won’t forget! Work alongside some of our long-standing service partners on projects such as building infrastructure in the Central Valley. The trip uses a service-learning framework tailored for high school students, wherein our staff provides guidance and reflection on the impact of our work and promotes the value of empathy and cultural sensitivity. When not volunteering, participants go off on exciting adventures like learning to surf, zip-lining over the forest canopy, enjoying whitewater rafting, and more! Fall in love with the Pura Vida lifestyle and all things Costa Rican in this 10-day program.
Program Highlights

He made friends, felt included, and had a blast every step of the way. From sign-up to send-off, everything was smooth: flights booked, checklist handled, no stress. The staff exceeded our expectations with how quickly and thoughtfully they responded to any questions we had—they were truly top-notch. We also loved the private Instagram updates—seeing his smile in every photo was the best part of our day. He came home proud of the service work, energized by the adventures, and full of stories we’re still laughing about. If your teen’s on the fence, this is the leap they didn’t know they needed.
