Wayei Safaris is a registered mobile safari company in Botswana, and Teko Shadrack (Teenage) Ntema is the managing director, founder, and owner of Wayei Safaris. He was born and raised in Maun, started his education there, and joined the tourism industry in 2005. He has experience of wildlife safari especially in fauna and flora also he has experience in guiding trips throughout Botswana. He believes in conserving Botswana’s beautiful nature as a trained naturalist and has a special interest in wildlife. To make your safari unforgettable, Teenage has a team of experienced & friendly guides. All our guides are fluent in English, knowledgeable about the parks, and are safe drivers. Who We Are Wayei Safaris derived it’s name from wayei tribe which originated from Okavango Delta as a nomadic people and they speak yei language with wa as people in early 1950s in Botswana. There are pastoral farmers rearing livestock and fishing in the Okavango Delta. The logo of Wayei Safaris which is vulture which represents the lifestyle of Wayei tribe and the customs, traditional systems of the Tswana tribe in the northern part of Botswana.
