The curriculum of the Finance and Accounting master’s program is designed so that students acquire a deep knowledge in the core fields, while at the same time allowing them the flexibility to tailor their education to personal needs and interests. We take an analytical and international perspective in all courses.
Flexibility to tailor education to one’s personal needs is provided by the second year of studies, where students can select from the following opportunities:
• apply for an exchange semester at one of our partner universities in Europe,
• experience an internship in Europe,
• choose Double Degree programme in partnership with Université Catholique de Louvain, Belgium or Double Degree offers a Master in Management or Business Engineering,
• or study a German - English Double Degree with Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg, Germany which offers Master of Business Sciences or Master Finance and Accounting.
During the second year, students will also write their master’s thesis. The master’s thesis is viewed as an opportunity for students to take the first step towards a future job by choosing a subject that will lead to further specialization within one of the key areas.

It was one of my best decisions choosing to study MIFA in VSE, as it gave me a lot of opportunities to grow professionaly and get a lot of experience, meet a lot of internationals and have the time of my life. Further more choosing double degree made me realize the possibilities of studing 2 differen programs and having the chance to live a really nice and different experience with more cultures to know and more challenges to have.
MIFA is not a typical degree program. It’s much more! MIFA is a community that is full of amazing people, everyday opportunities and needless to mention fabulous Prague. Moreover, both ACCOUNTING as a language of business and FINANCE as a soul of any business idea will definitely become your kamarádi!!!
