Join a teaching volunteer program in Arusha, Tanzania and support local schools and children while gaining valuable experience in a different educational and cultural environment.

As a teaching volunteer, you can support local teachers with classroom activities, English practice, creative activities, sports and educational games. 

You don't need to be a qualified teacher to volunteer with us. We welcome students, graduates, professionals and anyone with a genuine interest in education and working with children. Your responsibilities will always depend on your experience, confidence and the needs of the school or project.

VTE is a small-scale organization offering personal support before and throughout your stay. You will live in our volunteer accommodation, meet other international volunteers and experience everyday life in Tanzania.

In your free time, explore Tanzanian culture, discover Arusha, go on safari or travel to Zanzibar.
