Volunteer in Leyte, a province in the Eastern Visayas region of the Philippines! The community center in Bliss, Sagkahan in Tacloban City is the heart of all Volunteers for the Visayan's activities, serving as a staging area for various welfare projects. Staff and volunteers coordinate various social welfare projects for the Child Sponsorship Program and Community Program.

As part of their community outreach programs, we coordinate various activities to empower the locals. One such project is the Mother's Club, which focuses on skill training, livelihood opportunities, and micro-financing projects for women. The organization also conducts peer bonding groups for the youth and interactive seminars for parents of children enrolled in their Child Sponsorship Program.

Talented and skillful volunteers can transfer knowledge to the community center's clients by liaising closely with the staff. Among the qualities needed from volunteers working in the community center is the ability to show initiative and carry out tasks without constant supervision.
