So you know that Filipinos love to dance! If you stroll through a Philippine neighborhood, you will probably see children outside their homes practicing the latest dance steps. They are good at it and thoroughly enjoy themselves.

Dancing is an excellent way of helping disadvantaged children to express themselves, gain self-confidence, and learn social skills. It also gives children something fun and wholesome to do. There are, however, few opportunities for disadvantaged children to participate in dance classes. Fortunately, many accomplished and enthused individuals have volunteered in the past few years.
