The Master of Public Health at Cave Hill was developed in response to expressed training needs of the region to develop practitioners who are proficient in relevant disciplines such as epidemiology, health promotion, and public health leadership. Classes are held in a dedicated 24-hour access space This program is designed to train candidates to address regional health priorities at a standard comparable to internationally recognized curricula. It utilizes a population-based approach to explore wellness and topics covered include:

- Analytical skill development: Epidemiology, Biostatistics, and Research Methods.
- Social and behavioral influences and health service delivery: Primary Health Care, Family Health, Environmental Health, and Health Promotion
- Management Sciences as applied to health care and communities
