Master’s Degree Programme in Marine Sciences

The Master’s Degree in Marine Sciences is a two-year, English-taught program welcoming Italian and international students. The curriculum takes a multidisciplinary approach, combining cutting-edge research and practical skills to address environmental challenges in marine and coastal systems. Students gain expertise in natural resource management, coastal protection, fisheries and aquaculture, maritime spatial planning, and scientific communication. Practical training encompasses national and international fieldwork, as well as experience in top research labs, such as the MaRHE Center in the Maldives. Graduates are prepared for careers as marine environment analysts, ecologists, coastal management experts, and policy advisors, or for pursuing doctoral studies.
