The Bachelor of Economics and Science for Environmental Sustainability is a newly launched interdepartmental program for the 2025/26 academic year, designed to address the growing global demand for professionals capable of integrating economic, scientific, and managerial approaches to sustainability. With climate change, resource scarcity, and corporate responsibility at the forefront of societal challenges, this program equips students with the knowledge and skills to navigate and lead in a rapidly evolving world.

The curriculum strikes a balance between fundamental economic concepts and a focus on environmental sustainability and business practices. Core courses include Fundamentals of Management, Marketing, Microeconomics, and Mathematics, alongside specialized topics such as Energy Economics, Market Failures and Regulation, and International Environmental Law. Students also explore critical scientific dimensions, including Biological Resources, Ecosystems and Technosystems, and Earth Systems and Climate Change, fostering a holistic understanding of sustainability.
