Ecuador has plenty of sights to see. Some of its sought-after sites include mountains, jungles, beaches, ancient ruins, and the Galapagos Islands. Its natural, cultural diversity and Inca heritage appeal to many volunteers. Despite tremendous economic progress, Ecuadorians are still working to reduce poverty and the standard of living. 

As a volunteer, you can work with children from low-income families at a daycare center or center for special needs children, work at healthcare centers, or join environmental/wildlife protection groups.
