Program Overview
Seafaring, Vikings, castles, and quaint harbors beckon volunteers to Denmark. The Kingdom of Denmark includes Greenland and the Faroe Islands. With the longest, continuous coastline in Europe, it has no location that's further than 52 kilometers from the ocean. In 1849, the country adopted a democratic constitution. Now, hard work, protection of civil liberties, and traditional family life dominate its lifestyle.
As a volunteer, you'll be hosted by Dansk ICYE. This partnership will provide you with multitudes of opportunities to create lasting friendships and make a difference in Denmark.
