TWESA's Medical Internship Program provides students and aspiring healthcare professionals with opportunities to learn alongside local healthcare providers in hospitals, health centers, and community outreach programs. Participants gain exposure to Malawi's healthcare system and common medical and public health challenges.

Depending on qualifications and local regulations, interns may observe clinical activities, support health education initiatives, participate in maternal and child health programs, and assist with community health outreach.

The program is ideal for medical, nursing, public health, and other healthcare-related students seeking international experience in a resource-limited setting. Participants also have opportunities to engage with community development projects, including education, nutrition, and women's empowerment activities.

Placements are flexible, ranging from 1 week to 6 months. Accommodation and local support can be arranged through TWESA in Community Development.
