MSID—Sustainability in Senegal

Study sustainability, climate change, and sustainable development in Senegal, the land of "eternal spring." You will also participate in a 6-week internship or research project, allowing you to focus your studies on a unique sustainability topic (i.e., work on a farm monitoring irrigation, improving agricultural techniques, promoting organic agriculture). Senegal has a tropical but comfortable climate, with cool Atlantic water surrounding it on three sides. The climate is often described as "eternal spring" because of the idyllic temperatures and weather.
