Program Highlights

Foster an understanding of the global context through classroom and experiential learning.

Strengthen communication skills through acquisition of local languages and cultural awareness.

Live in an apartment or rented room in an area close to your placement, and receive a weekly meal stipend.

Take 16 credits per semester (including 4 required courses), followed by a 6-week internship or research project.

Study at the International Sustainable Development Studies Institute—staffed by American, Thai, Karen, and Hmong instructors and support personnel who use a unique, team-based approach to teaching.
