Get hands-on experience with a 6-week internship or research project, measuring the management and prevention of diseases, studying hygiene and community health, or rural vs. urban health care facilities. Senegal has a complex history and largely diverse population. African, European, and Middle Eastern influences and religious differences contribute to its melting pot society. From a healthcare perspective, this creates unique policies and challenges to create a healthy country.
