SFS Turks & Caicos: Marine Fauna

Meet the marine megafauna of the Turks and Caicos Islands. In this specialized summer course, you’ll snorkel and dive alongside sharks, turtles, rays, and other marine life to study their ecology and behavior. Through in-water field lectures, video tracking exercises, and snorkel and dive sessions around the island of South Caicos, you’ll learn about these charismatic creatures, the environmental threats they face, and strategies for their conservation. SFS students live and study at the Center for Marine Resource Studies. The Center is a small converted hotel overlooking the crystalline waters of the Atlantic Ocean.
