International Study in Architecture (Summer Course)

The Florence Institute offers architecture courses that teach drawing and observational skills and provide a general overview of Italian architectural theory and history. These introduce basic architectural principles and explore elementary building concepts, form, surface, and space. They also offer a basic understanding of the urban context and how city elements relate. Most courses are conducted "on-site," where students learn directly from architectural works through observational analysis and develop basic sketching and drafting skills in various media.
