Volunteer with Palestinian Children and Youth in Palestine
The Volunteer with Palestinian Children and Youth Program offers a unique opportunity to volunteer or intern with Palestinian children and refugees in Hebron, Palestine. This program is ideal for undergraduate and graduate students, teachers, social workers, retirees, childcare professionals, native and non-native English speakers, and anyone interested in education, youth development, and cultural exchange. Volunteers work directly with Palestinian children through educational, cultural, and recreational activities while gaining valuable experience in community development and intercultural communication. Participants also have the opportunity to learn about Palestinian culture, daily life, history, and the educational system in the West Bank. The program is available year-round and offers flexible participation periods from 1 to 13 weeks, allowing volunteers to choose their own start and end dates. We welcome applicants from all nationalities, academic backgrounds, and professions. By volunteering with Palestinian children and refugees, you will make a positive contribution to local communities while gaining valuable international experience in the West Bank, Palestine.

My experience in Hebron
February 05, 2023by: Christian G - United KingdomI originally signed up for a one-week program in Palestine but extended it to two because of how much I was enjoying the experience. I was initially a bit apprehensive about safety but not only did the Centre always ensure that we were suppported, but the situation in general was much safer than I was expecting. The program includes multiple trips to the Old City, Bedouin and refugee camps, visits to local organizations, and cultural sites. Overall, I would definitelty recommend this program. The staff were always incrediby friendly and eager to learn about where all of the volunteers came from.
