Temple University Rome offers a first-year program (Temple Rome Entry Year) and a semester or academic year program of full-time study designed primarily for third-year undergraduate students.  The Entry Year program provides students with the unique opportunity to complete their first year of studies at Temple's campus in Rome, Italy and then finish the remaining three years of their degree at Temple's Main Campus in Philadelphia (PA) or at the Tokyo, Japan campus. Students may choose from 50+ degree programs with topics ranging from art to international business and from biology to computer science. Internships for credit are available. Except for Italian language courses, all instruction is in English.

As of Sept. 2024 Temple Rome will be housed in the heart of Rome, right next to the Spanish Steps and within short walking distance of the beautiful Borghese Gardens, shops, and famous historical sites. Its facilities will include a dormitory for up to 50 first-year students, full disability access, "smart technology" classrooms; library; science lab; arts studios; an art gallery; conference center, panoramic terraces; open-air courtyard for students to enjoy and for events.
