This was a terrific course. Comprehensive demanding and engaging. The foundations of learning and acknowledgment of so many learning styles and leaving lots of room for creativity in lesson planning and engaging with students while a lot of work was worth it! It's fantastic to have a thorough portfolio on pond completion and a notebook full of rich information I can refer to.

This is a great course. I learned so much, and I feel prepared to teach. This course was comprehensive and covered a variety of topics I had never considered. If I could change one thing, I would ask that you add subtitles to each video and a full transcription of what is said during the lessons. There are some words and acronyms that I wasn't able to make out while I was transcribing these lessons for myself. All in all, great work! This is a fantastic course. 10/10 I would recommend it to others.

The weekly coaching calls and one-on-one support made a huge difference, and their job assistance prepared me well for interviews abroad. This course gave me all the tools I needed to become an English teacher. It covers all bases, and there is always support if you need it. Since I could work at my own pace, it gave me the freedom to continue my hobbies and other job.

I highly recommend this program! Not only will you learn a lot, but you can travel in your free time. I also liked the option of the online course which is a great option if you can't afford to come in person.

I'm excited to travel and learn at the same time while assessing myself on how well i know the english language and most importantly, share it with others. I have always believed that where ever part of the globe we are, so long as we can speak english? It automatically closes the language barrier between countries.

TEFLpros was such a great decision for me. It was so helpful to work at my own pace and really take my time to master the criteria in each module. What I love most is that they model what they are teaching. If they are teaching you to create brainstorming/warm-up questions for your students before a lesson, guess what you are doing before each lesson in their course? Warm-up questions! They model lesson structure and cater to each learning style by allowing you to read the lesson and/or listen to the lesson. And for the more kinesthetic learners, there are multiple observations for each module!

Going through the learning and certification process with TEFLPros exceeded my expectations. The material is well organized and practical. The portfolio that is built gives practical experience. Whitney William's coaching calls are priceless. When I was teaching in Madagascar and hit some bumps, I would get on a coaching call and receive expert advice and encouragement. I am a native speaker of English with a background from the United States. I live in Greece and at some point decided that I wanted to teach English as a foreign language. I felt overwhelmed and lost on my own and decided to research tefl programs available online for much needed guidance. I am so glad I chose Tefl Pros because I have gained the guidance and knowledge I was hoping for, and equally as important, the confidence to be the best teacher I can be. For me in particular the observational videos of real time lessons, as well as the the step by step lesson plans by Whitney were extremely helpful. The assignments and quizzes after every module keep you in check and ensure that you learn the material. I never had an unanswered question. The Coaching Calls promptly answer anything of concern that may arise. Whitney is a true professional on every level. She makes you feel welcomed and supported from day one. I never felt alone or lost and knew that I could depend on her assistance anytime if I needed it. I am very grateful! I learned a lot and I enjoyed this course very much!

TEFL Pros has given me the knowledge and the self esteem to believe in myself and that I can become a fantastic teacher. For context I am a 40 year British person seeking to up skill and change career. I chose to teach English as a foreign language and after thorough online research I discovered the TEFL Pros course. The introductory discussion I had with Whitney before I signed up to the course really helped me manage my own expectations about what I could do. The course itself involves being a student yourself whilst listening and watching online videos delivered by Whitney. There are worksheets to complete whilst learning from the videos. There are then videos of actual classes being taught which really helped me to see what I was learning being put into practice. The opportunity to share highlights of the study and see what others are achieving is brilliantly available by joining the Facebook group. Weekly video Q & A's also help with any questions or concerns that you may have. Throughout the course I felt fully supported. I had a couple of queries and my emails were promptly responded to with the answers I hoped to get. I will recommend this course to anyone I hear that is wanting to do a TEFL course.

I believe that this course is EXCELLENT! This course provides everything a novice or non-teacher would require to learn how to teach. Since I am an experienced educator, the majority of the material was fundamental and familiar to me. However, the "Tenses" lesson served as a welcome refresher.

This 120hr TEFL course has everything. Downloadable documents. Videos that accompany all written text per each Module. Classroom observation videos that gives the viewer a look in how classrooms are coordinated. There is even a facebook group and the coaching calls. Got a question regarding the course or teaching in general? Then the coaching calls got you covered.

It was a great refresher course from my prior learning! Teaching English language learners is a lot like teaching sped students, you need a lot of realia, patience, and differentiation skills. I enjoyed reminiscing during module-1 when we were asked, “Think back to your childhood school days. As a young learner, what was your view of teachers?” My response was, “I remember thinking teachers were smart, possibly even smarter than my parents. I also knew there were teachers that I liked better than others and who I knew liked me as a student as well. I really don’t remember too much of my early days as a learner. I remember recess was the coolest and our teacher, an Afro-Panamanian, would always play kickball with us at PE and he even volunteered to teach karate after school. He was one of my absolute faves.” I want to be someone’s favorite teacher one day. After having some experience in the field myself, I now have a greater respect for teachers and applaud their strong necks by the weight of all the hats they wear. I enjoyed this course very much and I am ready to start interviewing for jobs overseas.

The program was well laid out and it was nice to have videos attached to the work. I have a chance to try out the program for free. I learned a lot from the examples and from the reviews. Support was always there when I needed it.

The Teflpros course has equipped me to teach abroad if I so desire but at present I am doing my teaching online with online companies and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. I would recommend this course highly to anyone who wants to teach abroad.
