The TEFL Worldwide Prague experience is similar to nothing I have done before. The course was well structured, practical, and the trainers gave incredible support from start to finish. They were knowledgeable and gave constructive feedback that really built my confidence and helped me grow as a teacher. Throughout the course, you get in the classroom teaching real students (how cool is that?!) After the course, the trainers and TEFL community go out of their way to make sure you have a job secured and point you in the right direction. I couldn’t recommend this course enough!

I would highly recommend TEFL Worldwide Prague. Trainers are very supportive and helpful. The course is pretty intense considering it is a 4-week crash course. Be prepared to prioritize the course during these 4 weeks and manage your time wisely. There are nights that me and my classmates would stay up past midnight to finish lesson plans, but it gets easier as you move along. It’s a lot of information, but I feel confident as a teacher now. I loved having the opportunity to teach real students and the feedback from the trainers guided me a lot. The course also gives you the opportunity to network with those in your class and connect with alumni through events which is great as someone new in Prague. I’m so happy I chose this program!

I had a really great experience in the TEFL course. The reviews I read before I took the course proved correct - it is a demanding course in terms of time and energy (at least for someone like me, with no teaching experience), but the results were very rewarding. The trainers not only took our education seriously, but they also made me feel welcome and supported, in addition to making the course fun! One thing I especially appreciated was that there was plenty of time allotted for us to work on lesson plans with the trainers available for any questions we had or advice we needed, which was extremely helpful to my lesson planning process. Having classmates going through the same things as me in terms of the demands of the course and moving to a new place was also extremely helpful. We would often eat lunch together between classes and hang out outside of class. We still share information and job listings with each other in our original TEFL group chat, so it's an invaluable aspect of the course.

What a wonderful programme. I really thought I knew what it would be like to teach English as a foreign language, but it turns out there is so much more. The team are very experienced, and I am grateful to have attended the course.

When it comes to TEFL schools, I obvioudly only have this one to go off of. However, I can gladly say they make it really fun at times while still teaching you every single little thing you need to know to be successful as a teacher. The support is always there and it is truly amazing to have as many people as you do. I highly recommend if you are looking to move abroad and get your TEFL certificate.

I really enjoyed taking this course. It's an intensive four weeks, but nothing you can't handle if you come prepared to put in the work. Instructors were extremely knowledgeable and helpful, always had great advice and were very giving of their time. A lot of great resources were given during and after the course, both with pursuing the certification, then also using that certification to find work. TEFL Worldwide Prague is an incredible experience. I loved the support I received before and during the course. In short, I took the course because for my 30th birthday I wanted to do something different with my life, so I stepped out of my comfort zone, left my life in Mexico, and began the visa application process here in the Czech Republic. This has been one of the best learning experiences I’ve ever had. The course is intense, but incredibly rewarding. Despite the long hours spent in the classroom, I never once felt bored or discouraged. I had completed my 120-Hour online certification through TEFL.Org but decided that I also wanted an in-class experience. I can truly say that this was a great decision. The training was excellent and provided useful ways to teach grammar concepts to non-native speakers. Each of the trainers had their own specific strengths which worked out well in ensuring that each topic covered was done in a way to maximize results. I will say that this was a pretty intense course with a lot of information to consume in a limited time but the end result was worth all the effort. I am already working as a teacher in Prague following the course and can truly say I would not have been nearly as successful without the guidance of TEFL Worldwide Prague. I would like to give a special shoutout to Tasci, April, Nick, Jordan and Trisha for being excellent instructors and presenting the information in a manner that was both entertaining and educational. Also made some great new friends along the way.

I graduated just this month and it was one of the best experiences I ever had. Starting from the trainers always willing to help and that look forward to see you grow and become the best teacher you could be. The facility also its comfortable, they give you everything you might need and everyone is so nice. Thanks to the irl experience and to the teaching practice possibility that were given, I from the start felt comfortable in understanding if it was the right road for me, and thankfully it was. I reccomend anyone who has an interest in becoming an English teacher, to give it a go in this program!

My experience with TEFL Worldwide has been everything I'd hoped it would be. It helped me gain confidence not only in my teaching abilities but in my new life in a foreign country. Doing TEFL worldwide was one of the best things I have ever done for myself. The course is a lot; it will take up your entire Monday through Friday and sometimes weekends as well. But overall, I am happy I had this experience. Through completing this program, I made lifelong friends and now have a career path. I am a recent college grad from the US who wasn't sure what I wanted to do with my life so I decided to move to Prague and do this program. I have been teaching full-time at a primary school for 2 weeks and it is hard, but I like it. I am very glad to chose to do this program and I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in teaching English as a second language full time. The course was educational, though sometimes a bit unnecessarily long in my opinion. You get real practice teaching to real students during the course, and many teachers help you develop your planning skills. TEFL Worldwide was an experience I will never forget. Having completed the course now, I cannot imagine if I chose not to do it. I would have missed out on some of my favorite memories I have now made in Prague with some pretty awesome people.

Great program. It's extremely comprehensive for just a month. 6 weeks later and I'm teaching in Prague! The TEFL course is definitely worth it if you want to teach abroad, and Tefl worldwide runs a solid course, significantly more in depth than any online course out there (and probably the other in person ones too). I took this course in 2020 when looking for a career change. It turned out to be the best decision I have made. Psychologists don't travel for work much, do they? They rather stay in one location/clinic/institution and help people there. Or at least that is what I, a Psychologist thought, and so I realised I needed another "travelling" job. Having lived in Prague before, the choice for the Travelling Effortlessly For a Living had to be in that majestic city. I was only with one more non-native English speaker in the class and, gosh, how intense was it! From the camaraderie to the course structure, TEFL Worldwide Prague has it all prepared to turn you into a very good professional. Long story short, I am now living in Macao, China for 13 years now, I have 3 beautiful smart mixed daughters, I speak fluent chinese and I still juggle with Psychology and Foreign Language teaching. The program was incredibly well organized. The instructors were knowledgeable, prepared, and delivered their content impeccably. The support staff was so helpful. They had someone meet me when I got off the plane and show me how to take the public transport to the school. All the people in my program were super nice and helpful. I’m not good at tech and there was always someone there to walk me through things. I’ve been teaching in Europe for 6 years now and still use the things I learned there. What an experience! It’s a challenging, yet rewarding programme! The trainers are super supportive, the coursework is relevant and thorough and we put it all to use within the first 10 days. This is an amazing, jam packed, intensive course with great trainers and an awesome community. When I signed up I was aware it would be a lot of work, and it sure was, but I did not expect it to be as rewarding as it was. Between the trainings, teaching practice and various assignments you get exposed to a lot of practical information. In a month you are ready to teach English. There is also a lot of information about jobs/visa/accommodation. If you are considering Tefl this is the course!

This course is jam-packed with information about teaching as well as how to transition into Prague (if you’d like to stay after the course). The intensity isn’t a joke. You are learning how to be a great teacher and putting in a lot of hours, but the reward is great! Not to mention you get to teach in front of real students and get the real world experience of teaching in the classroom. I took the course in February of 2022 and to this day I am still practicing what I learned. One of my favorite things about the course is going to the graduation where you get to meet all of the past graduates and celebrate together!

The course is no joke. The word intense is not an overstatement. What I thought will be a validation of my experience as an ESL teacher, turned out to be an intense and much needed wake up call. I thought the course will be a walk in the park as I've been teaching for more than a decade. I quickly realized that what I was doing so proudly was falling way short of what I should be doing. After the first lesson planning session I knew I'll have to let go of everything I thought I knew and open up to actually learn how to teach professionally. I would like to emphasize that the course requires one's full attention. I can't stress that enough. I would have liked to do this course without having to juggle my job after classes and during the weekends which were usually packed with homework. It did affect both my progress and my experience. I wish I could afford to redo it without any distractions. The variety of classes were very interesting. It was way more than "you have to do this and that" and voila you're a teacher. The course touches on so many aspects. Way beyond practical steps. It gave me a lot of food for thought. One of the sides of this experience that I liked was actually observing the instructors teach us. We were such a mixed bunch, pretty colourful characters...definitely not boring. So it was interesting to see how they approached us. We did require patience and they handled us pretty well. :) If you embark on the TEFL in Prague journey you will grow not only as a teacher but as person. Being a student that learns teaching is quite an interesting process. You will learn that you know nothing and you have to set your pride aside and embrace that concept. You will learn to empathise with both your students and your teachers. It is a priceless lesson. Hang in there. You can do it. :)

I really appreciate that the course helped prepare me to land a job as an English teacher and do well in my future classes. The teachers we had at TEFL Worldwide Prague were great and supportive, and I enjoyed learning from them. The staff was also quite helpful. As many alumni here have mentioned, the course is truly intensive. But it's worth it and will definitely help you in your teaching journey. Although the school itself was great, I have to agree with another reviewer here re: transparency of the visa process. Although the requirements were explained in the information packet, it turns out that there's been an increase - thus you need to have more money in your bank. I'm lucky in that my visa was approved, but still there was a long waiting period which made me and some of my classmates feel stressed out and anxious (on top of all the moving out tasks that we had to do).

I was very anxious about starting any TEFL course, and was referred to TEFL Worldwide Prague, and I'm so thankful. Before the course started, all my questions were answered and I was given plenty of guidance. During the course, and even 8 months later, I feel well supported by the instructors and administrators. I was given lots of advice, connections, and one of the instructors even helped me find some private students. All of the instructors have a wealth of TEFL knowledge and genuinely care that their students succeed. Even though I'm no longer a student in the program, I'm not suddenly treated like an outsider. When I see an instructor around town or at the graduation parties, everyone is still friendly and personable. I highly suggest working with TEFL Worldwide Prague. You will be supported throughout the entire process, you will make new friends, and you will become part of a positive community that is always there to help you be the best teacher you can be.

TEFL worldwide is a course to fully prepare you to teach anywhere in the world. The course trainers are all experienced and are there to support you constructively to become the best teacher you can be. The course also gives you the opportunity to practice teaching with real students, and the feedback sessions with trainers and peers help you to constantly improve - this is something you won't experience with an online course. The four weeks of the course are intense but, for me, are entirely worth it. Aside from studying to become a teacher, you'll meet like minded people and make friends for life.

Before I moved to Prague to enroll in a TEFL program and begin work as a teacher, I felt like my life was beginning to stagnate. I was working long hours at a corporate job in the United States, and doing work that was entirely uninteresting to me. He knew I hated my job and the day I told him I wanted to quit, he sent me all the information I would need to get involved with the program. Moving to a new country alone can be tough and it was great to have others around me that were in the same boat! Would definitely recommend!

The instruction itself was decent; I wasn’t overly impressed nor dissatisfied. I would give it a 7/10. However, as a company that advertises “live & teach in Prague”, I think they should be more honest about the visa process. Here are some things that are important to know: 1. The visa process can take much longer than you are allowed to stay legally on a tourist visa. I would estimate that for those in my course who stayed in Prague, it took about six months on average from the course start date to receive their visas. 2. You can’t legally start working until you have your visa. Although many schools will hire you before you get your visa, it’s not uncommon for them not to pay you until you receive your visa. 3. Your visa could be rejected for no good reason. Combine these together and you can imagine how this process can get messy. It’s likely that you will be both working and living illegally in Prague for a period, which can create a whole mess of problems if you have any dispute with employers/landlords/etc. In my case, my visa was rejected after I had been in Prague for about six months, and rejected again on appeal four months later. I attribute this to both simply unreasonable treatment from the Czech Ministry of Interior, and a lack of expertise from the visa agency recommended by the program. Luckily, I did manage to get paid and leave the country without legal trouble, although there was a period when I was unemployed due to the uncertainty of the situation. I know someone else whose employer refused to pay her in full, and there was basically nothing she could do about it. Of course, if you’re an EU citizen or don’t plan to stay in Prague, this shouldn’t be an issue. But for everyone else, the program should be more honest about the risk involved.

I graduated from the program in March of 2022 and it will be an experience that I will treasure for the rest of my life. I want to start off by saying that this program is NOT easy, but it is so REWARDING! The friendships I gained from the course and the people I have met are so helpful and always there to listen. Whether we were in the classroom for TEFL training or in the library preparing lessons; if anyone walked in we were always greeted with a nice smile and a hello. The program is very intensive. It is a lot of very long days and you learn so much in just a short amount of time, but it pays off. To see your students progress and improve their English is such a rewarding feeling. I highly recommend this course to anyone wanting to start something new and make an impact on peoples lives. After the course you can always reach out to the coordinators and teachers. They love to stay and touch and answer any questions you may have. I am so grateful I stepped out of my comfort zone to take this course!

I wasn't exactly sure what to expect when signing up for the program, but it wasn't quite what I got. It was far better. The program exceeded my expectations and I feel as prepared as any course could ever get me to being ready to teach. The instructors were friendly, approachable, and shared their expertise without being condescending. If you need any help during or after the course, you have helpful and friendly folks right there who can either help you or know where to point you to get the appropriate help. All I had to do was reach out, and there was always an answer. I feel more prepared as a teacher to actually teach my students and help them succeed because of the solid foundation built during this program. If you're on the fence about taking the leap to be a TEFL teacher, do it! Going through TEFLWorldwide here in Prague, I feel so much more confident than before about my abilities and the opportunities available for me as a teacher. They really are the best, and I highly recommend this program!

While signing up for TEFL, I did not expect to meet such experienced yet incredibly friendly and approachable tutors. I expected an intense experience, which turned out to be true, yet the tutors made everything very enjoyable and fun. I received a lot of support and guidance - not only on teaching, approaching a class or planning a lesson, but also on the subsequent job search (there was a special meeting scheduled where all the options of getting employed as a language teacher were listed, including a guidance on opening the Czech business license or getting the working visa, e.g. when you are from overseas). I received my first job offers shortly after graduating and even teach at a public Czech school. I am happy to see that the know how learned can be applied both with adults and pupils (11 - 15 years in my case). I recommend this course at Spevacek to everyone who is considering doing TEFL - you will receive a lot of care from the best tutors, learn all the basics to start teaching your own students and have lots of fun along the way!

I’ll start off by saying that no amount of hours in any teaching course will fully prepare you for the first time you step in front of a class. It takes a long time to find your comfort zone when teaching english. That being said, the TEFL Worldwide program in Prague is really a great program if you’re interested in teaching abroad. What I mentioned above was told to us by many of our instructors; each of them were very in tune with the realities of teaching, each seasoned veterans that really prepared us for what to expect when we began teaching. Whether you have prior teaching skills or you’re new to the game, you’ll walk away from this course feeling much more confident and better equipped to start teaching. Each of the modules were very in-depth, and I won’t lie: It’s a lot of work. Obviously the first thing you’ll want to do when you get to Prague is explore the city. And explore it you must. Whether you’re planning to stay or just stopping through for the month, it truly is a magical place that sucks you in immediately. But, you’ll find a lot of your free time chewed up by work for the course. It’s not hard by any means, but more so time-consuming. The best part of the course was the practical experience you gain throughout it. You teach actual Czech students 6 times over the course of the 4 weeks. It’s very nerve-wracking, but the instructors each give great feedback that allows you yourself to slowly start to notice improvements in each successive lesson. Not only that, these practice lessons give you a good glimpse into what it’s like to teach specifically Czech people. What really makes the course as a whole are those you go through it with. Your class makeup will really define the overall vibe of the day-day activities. The instructors provide a great work and learning environment that favors genuine friendships with your fellow Teflers. I was lucky, our class became really close over the course of the month and we’re all still good friends. It’s sort of a “shared struggle” bond that you develop together. Enroll in TEFL Worldwide if you want to travel abroad and teach. And if you’re thinking about doing the course for the month in Prague and then moving somewhere else with your degree (which is totally possible, the degree is internationally recognized), I wish you good luck in trying to leave Prague. Once you’re here you will fall in love with this place.

Read any of these reviews, and you'll get the sense that this course is *very* intense. And it is. I chose TEFL Worldwide for it's reputation as a hard, but complete training that properly prepares one to teach. This course was exactly that. TEFL courses are naturally filled with scams, but TEFL Worldwide is a diamond in the rough. Not only is it really, really good at preparing you, the instructors go above and beyond to make themselves available to you. Make no mistake, this course does not coddle you. They will grade you honestly, and harshly. But this is only done to provide the fullest amount of feedback. I now teach in Prague, and I am thankful TEFL Worldwide prepared me so well for the harsh realities of teaching. This course will give you a huge volume of materials, it will teach you the formats, but the most important thing that TEFL Worldwide will give you is the ability to truly conceptualize teaching. They give you the formats you need to teach, but also impart the notion that teaching is fluid - they do a fantastic job of simultaneously giving a standard format, while also demonstrating the flexibility of such in the real world. The instructors are personable and real with you. And they instill you with confidence; this course is hard, but they make it clear that teaching is easier. In summary, the difficulty of this course is exactly why it's so good. TEFL Worldwide has some of the best mentor staff I could imagine. They aren't there to tear you down, they are there to challenge you, and help you to be the best teacher you can. In fact, I am still in contact with the instructors. Because at the end of the day, even after the course, they care a lot, and they continue to help me as a teacher. In addition, the resources they give you are tremendous. The last thing I want to highlight is how Martin, the program director, personally went above and beyond in helping me with my areas of interest. Originally, I was interested in teaching in Ukraine, which is not a common country. Martin personally reached out to people, and told me about the general "vibe" of Ukraine- I have been to Kyiv before, and from what I knew going in, it was clear he asked the right people, and came with a good understanding of what living in Ukraine is like, and what teaching is like. This course does not only teach you how to teach, it prepares you to live in a foreign country. No matter where you intend to teach, they will work to find out things like: what life is like in your intended country, which schools are reputable, what pay you can expect, and more. I was thoroughly impressed with the course. It was worth the money, and frankly, I would not only recommend it, I would be skeptical of *other* TEFL courses in Prague. TEFL worldwide is so good, there is no reason to shop around, especially if you intend to teach in Prague.

There are so many reasons why anyone should apply for this program. First, it is a direct path to getting to live practically anywhere you want in the world. Secondly, you get to spend the month in Prague, an absolutely amazing city. But more seriously, this program actually prepares you to teach English- it is intense, and at times trying, but it is so so worth it. The school was in a great location. It was an intense four weeks, especially with the course having to move online with the resurgence of the pandemic. However, despite that, the course itself never suffered, with constant support and encouragement from the TEFL Worldwide team, it prepared us for the world of teaching to the highest level and gave us an extra advantage of gaining experience of teaching in the online format. Taking my TEFL course in TEFL Worldwide Prague has been by far the best decision of my life. Where to start (apologies I still haven't figured out punctuation on this Czech keyboard.) I must say, this course was extremely intense, I didn't think I was going to get through it. My wife gave birth in the third week of this course, I was left to fend on my own with my toddler and it was absolutely chaotic. The trainers were amazing, and one of my peers even switched teaching practice with me so that I could be there when my daughter was born. The trainers were flexible and willing to work with us and guide us through the process. If you're thinking about doing this course, GET EXCITED! Your limits will be tested, sometimes you may second guess yourself, but you just need to trust the process and trust the fact that the trainers are trying to work with you and not against you.

I have been living in Prague for two years and decided it was time to start a new direction in my work life. The course is very intense and demands complete concentration and plenty of hard work. This course is absolutely amazing, the delivery is of the highest standard and the support throughout the course is brilliant. It may depend on your personal experience and background, but I would recommend sharing accommodation because the learning curve can be quite intense and this will give you an opportunity to collaborate with your fellow students better. When I started looking for TEFL courses I had no idea of where to even start, even though I'd already been working as an English teacher for years; trying to find a course that would actually help me in my career was something that proved itself to be a challenge from the beginning. I live in South America and the idea of leaving my country to go all the way to the Czech Republic, a place I knew very little about, seemed really exciting but also it represented taking a leap of faith, at least that's what I thought. I was worried about so many things, money, not knowing the country, or the school...there was no need to worry! TEFL Worldwide proved to be exactly what I was looking for and even more. The training at TEFL Worldwide Prague was very intensive. But if you are prepared to give it 100%, you'll be rewarded with confidence and a general feeling of being ready to teach English to anyone. I came to Prague not knowing what to expect, but it was great! Tough at first, but with great trainers and fellow students to pull me through, and great local students, who made each lesson great! The area is also very good, with restaurants, bars and a mall close by, and not too close to the city centre to entice you to make the wrong decisions ;) In short, I can recommend this course to anyone wanting to start their esl journey!

Everyone in this program was so great. Kenny and Jasmine were fantastic teachers and you get lots of hands-on experience teaching real students and working with real course material. It is intensive, but it is the best course you could have to prepare you for teaching abroad. I was given plenty of job opportunities and interviews simply because I was in this course, but I also was taught and given the tools I needed to actually succeed during these interviews and help my students. I highly recommend this course, you WILL work, but you will have the time of your life doing it and it really pays off.

I did the TEFL program in Prague at Vysocanska and had the best time. I got to meet ppl (other enrolled students as well as locals and other travelers and expats) from all over the world, improving my network while receiving constructive feedback on my teaching. The opportunity to practice teaching locals through peer observation was also extremely helpful. Lastly, the TEFL staff as always available to help with any questions or issues with my getting acclimated. An experience I will never forget and one I would definitely recommend!

TEFLWorldwide Prague was one of the best decisions I have made in my life thus far. It has opened so many doors all around the world. The course was challenging yet manageable. The instructors were thoughtful and helpful. The class environment made learning really fun and enjoyable!

TEFL worldwide had all the bases covered from an orientation meeting where students of the course were taking around the city and a meet and greet with recent graduates of the program who had already started teaching upon course completion in Prague. All instruction through out the course was relevant , introducing us to practical teaching models and methodology that were easily applied in all our practical teaching lessons. I had worried beforehand that sitting in a classroom for that length of time and concentrating would be problematic for me however the instructors introduced enough variety into the class work that that concern soon left me. Support staff were always available to help with practical teaching lesson preparation together with all other questions relevant to living and finding work in Prague. Many of the Prague language schools were present at the end of course to introduce their schools and offer employment to graduates. I would highly recommend this course to anyone interested in teaching English to non native speakers through the experience of living abroad. I , myself , took this course upon the recommendation of a recent graduate.

I took this course in November of 2018 and it was a fantastic decision. I have worked in the Czech Republic since then with no problem finding jobs and my bosses have continued to ask if I know of any other graduates of this program who are looking for jobs. I recently decided to move to Germany and I contacted the school and not only did they give me information about finding jobs in Germany they also reached out to other graduates who went and taught in Germany and asked them if it was okay for me to contact them and ask them questions about working in Germany. They have continued to give me guidance and I am so appreciative of them. It’s an excellent program and I couldn’t recommend it enough.

The in class practical experience beginning in Week 1 combined with the professional level of instruction delivered by Kenny and others makes this program World Class. It was good, hard, challenging work and I can’t recommend this program highly enough.

TEFL Worldwide Prague was an amazing experience. It was tough but I came out knowing so much after just one month. The teachers were amazing, and I feel confident to teach in a foreign country. TEFL Worldwide Prague was the best program I could have chosen to do for my TEFL certification. Prior to arriving in Prague, I spent months researching various programs in Prague and TEFL Worldwide Prague had the best reviews and most detailed view on what one would be learning during the run of the course. They are also among the few who have legitimate accreditation for their certification. The communication beforehand with the staff was excellent-- any questions or concerns I had were comprehensively and promptly answered. During the course itself, I learned so much about the English language, how to teach, and specifically how to teach English as a foreign language without utilizing the students' L1, an idea that really concerned me while I was back home in Texas. The instructors were incredibly knowledgable, approachable, and provided constructive feedback for each lesson I taught. TEFL Worldwide Prague also assisted with putting us all in touch with an excellent visa agency as well as countless resources for housing, banking, employment, etc. If I ever decide to leave Prague to teach in another country, I know that I can email TEFL Worldwide Prague and they will put me into contact with schools and businesses in those countries. The amount of support they offer before, during, and after the course is fantastic. I was completely satisfied by the end of my course, but it wasn't until I began applying to different language schools and started teaching that I truly realized how useful my course at TEFL Worldwide Prague was. I quickly found out that many language schools are aware of TEFL Worldwide Prague's reputation for training qualified English teachers and are often more inclined to set up interviews with these graduates. The other thing I realized was that the methodology and practice I had during the course was truly invaluable-- I couldn't imagine becoming a teacher without that knowledge and practice. Moving to Korea has been a wonderful experience. I'm putting myself and am being put into situations I never thought I would encounter. I never thought I could care much for children but I have grown a deep affection for all of my students. They have one of the most brilliant brains and they have taught me a lot about how to be happy. They too have been teaching me Korean in the mornings before I start work. Anyway, the experience has been wonderful and has sharpened my inner sensitivities in strangest ways. I appreciate people and places in a number of different ways like I never have before. Overall, my experience has been a very happy one!

I really enjoyed my experience with TEFL Worldwide Prague. This was my first introduction to Europe and I couldn't have chosen a better place! From the unconditional support and guidance from the TEFL Worldwide Prague staff to the amazing food, lodging, and transportation services, this experience changed my perspective on European culture altogether. I will be back! I was amazed by the diversity of our group. I met people from 6/7 continents! I loved how we were able to teach within the first week, and after every session my confidence grew. I was there for a little under a month and by the end, I felt like I actually got to know many of the students and my fellow teachers. It was honestly hard to say goodbye to what I would call my extended family. I also really enjoyed the Czech lessons we learned at the school because whenever I practiced it outside the classroom, Czech people acknowledged my attempts and many complimented my pronunciation. I felt very prepared after leaving the program to teach English as a foreign language. I had several job offers to teach English abroad, in the U.S., and online. If it weren't for the several workshops, emails, and TEFL Worldwide Prague staff answering so many of our questions, I don't think I would have felt confident to apply to those jobs or teach as well as I am now. The staff were so patient and understanding; I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Even though I knew no one when I came, I still keep in contact with most of the teachers who received their TEFL certificate and actually traveled to a state where one of the teachers were. I told her my partner and I were visiting that state and she drove over an hour to see us to catch up on life outside of social media. TEFL Worldwide Prague brought us together and if I had the chance, I would do it all again! One highlight outside of teaching and meeting the teachers/staff was singing Adele's "Someone Like You" song for karaoke with the teachers. We sang our hearts out and no one cared that we couldn't actually sing. The Czech crowd, who sang beautifully by the way, cheered us on and made us feel like we were superstars. I'll never forget that moment. Another highlight was when we went bowling. The teachers wanted to celebrate our first week of teaching and we all agreed bowling was the way to go. I learned so much about my classmates/teachers that night, a couple of them were actually great at bowling! That night brought us together and made the last 3 weeks all the more memorable. My biggest takeaway from TEFL Worldwide Prague is: "Challenging not impossible, Educational but fun, and We Are Family, We Lift Each Other Up". While I was studying at TEFL Worldwide Prague, I met amazing people from all over the world. All the staff and teachers were very helpful and friendly, always assisting. TEFL Worldwide Prague really gets you ready for becoming an English teacher. This all sounds too good to be true, but it really is that good and that true!

TEFL Worldwide Prague has an incredible staff, a great alumni support system, and plenty of teaching resources at the school. Although the course was intensive—teaching twice a week, grammar lessons, and one-to-one assessments- we were prepared and encouraged throughout the whole process. I left TEFL feeling completely ready for a career teaching English in Prague and with life-long friendships. Couldn’t recommend this course enough!

I can't sing these guys praises enough. The course was so informative and thorough, and covered not just teaching methodology, but also language awareness, and there were a variety of workshops and sessions surrounding things like visa applications, job hunting, CV writing, and there was even a job fair at the end. On top of this, they had a library where we could access learning materials, and the staff were always more than happy to lend a hand with any questions we had about teaching and life in Prague- they even looked over the contract me and some of my coursemates were signing for a flat for after the course to check it was all legit. They also continue to update you on jobs and to offer support after the course as finished. All round, a fantastic bunch of people, and a fabulous course.

This course was an incredible experience. They give you tons of information and practical experience that you can take with you for your teaching career. Plenty of actual teaching time with students in both classroom and one on one settings.

I graduated from TEFL Worldwide Prague in November 2014 and my world changed dramatically because of it. I got to experience teaching for almost two years in Prague, and then I headed to China for a year. It was an amazing experience and while I am taking a sabbatical from teaching at the moment (due to parents' health), I know I will be able to find more jobs again whenever I am ready to, because of the job assistance given through them. I highly recommend the course to all!

At the ripe old age of 62, I was somewhat worried about fitting in with classmates 1/3 of my age, and instructors 1/2 of my age! My trepidations were easily assuaged from the very moment of my arrival at the Prague airport to find arrangements for a taxi to the school's lodgings waiting to whisk me into the beauties of Praha 9. The four weeks that followed began each morning with a hearty breakfast buffet at the Hotel Pivovar, filling my tank for the very full day of classroom instruction and theory in the morning, followed by hands-on "real world" contacts for both lesson planning and teaching. The peer and supervisor's observations and analysis were of the utmost relevance and detail. Sharing sessions were always of the utmost caring and concern, focusing on what I was doing right and what needed to be improved. Being a seasoned educator (French and ESL teacher for over 20 years) I found the feedback and materials to be more than useful and the rhythm of the entire four weeks to be structured extremely effectively. By the end of the course, not only were we able to claim we had improved and learned a lot, we also were provided with the pedagogical metrics to analyze our own progress and that of classmates who had become colleagues and even friends. Prague in the springtime was a wonderful backdrop for this program, providing the needed support and climate for young and old alike! No question was left unanswered. No methodological approach left unexplored. Even a "luddite" like me was able to learn the joys of incorporating educational technology into a total, student-centered learning experience. Can't recommend it enough.

I liked the action packed days where there was pressure but it did not felt like someone holding a knife on your neck. I completed a month TEFL course and it was a wonderful experience. I found the director of the school an excellent teacher. Set up of the school is great. It is not too big so you feel you can be supported throughout the time. Plenty of practical opportunities to teach. The accommodation available was excellent. I have no complaints.

I took a TEFL course back in 2013. It would take a long time to describe all the things I've experienced meeting new people, learning from them. The staff, lectors were all so much helpful in all aspects of my academic month, they are indeed professional aimed at your success and progress. The course was extremely useful and thanks to the certificate I always managed to find teaching jobs abroad in more different countries. The communicative method we learnt is efficient and lively. Students don't get bored during the lessons. There is always space for self-expression thanks to this method. The motivation to learn English comes naturally.

TEFL Worldwide Prague was an amazing experience, both professionally and personally. Not only was the TEFL program an immersive educational experience, but I met one of my very best friends while I was there and absolutely fell in love with Prague. I loved that a core aspect of the program was actually getting in the classroom and teaching students from the beginning. It pushed us all out of our comfort zones and led us to become well-rounded teachers who were prepared, and ready for, the classroom upon graduation. They do a great job in helping students find job opportunities all over the world when graduating, no matter how long it's been, and maintain a vibrant online community of alumni who are always willing to help new grads. Beyond that, Prague is an amazing city to get to know. My cohort and I all had so much fun! It is safe, easy to navigate, and affordable. There is no shortage of activities for every kind of person. It remains, to this day, my favorite city in Europe.

Before TEFL Worldwide Prague, I had little to no classroom experience. I learned a lot from the course and through the school's excellent job search assistance, I was able to secure a job by the end of the placement. After spending a year in Prague, I found a job in Taipei, Taiwan, again through the job search service. I've been here ever since and the course really helped me make the transition both to Prague and to Taipei. It was the best decision I ever made!

From the living situation to the unbelievably charismatic teachers, it was a time I will never forget. I learned so much in this one program - was taken out of my comfort zone and loved every minute! I initially graduated from TEFL Worldwide in April of 2013. I was 24 at the time and the coursework was comprehensive and professional. It enabled me to live and teach in Prague for more than two years, between the ages of 24 and 26. At 26, thanks in large part to my TEFL experiences, I returned to the United States and obtained a Professional Educator's License at the High School Level. I am now in my 4th year of teaching and last year I was selected as the 2020 Dixie County District Teacher of The Year in Florida. Since leaving Prague, I have managed to return annually for upwards of two weeks every summer, and even chaperoned 10 students through an 8 day tour of Central Europe this past summer through EF Tours. Suffice it to say, my experiences with TEFL Worldwide has left a lasting impression on my life.

The Tefl program let me try out and test the ideas the instructors gave us. I did the course years ago and still use some things I learned now! (yes, I am still teaching abroad.) The people I met in the program were amazing and they way we worked in groups really helped. The instructors and program administrator were very helpful.

TEFL WW was amazing decision. I considering teaching in Asia (China, South Korea, etc) which required no experience and offered no teaching, this worried me because of the even bigger culture change and no teaching background/support. I also looked at taking a TEFL course in my hometown Boston which ended up being the same cost as flying, living, and taking the course in Prague for 1 month. Met great friends, some of which are still there. I also stayed for 1.5 years and had a phenomenal experience.

After this course, I felt truly prepared to go into the world and teach English as a second language. Since taking the course in 2009, I have taught English in Nicaragua, China, and Korea. This TEFL school opened the doors to world. The instructors prepared us very well. The course was very intense, but the hand-on experience was priceless. The classroom size was Perfect and not too crowded. During the course, we also created lifetime friendships with staff and students. I will never forget my time at TEFL Worldwide Prague, and I truly recommend this school to everyone.

Despite being a native speaker, I would have been at a complete loss without this course. The provided a fantastic foundation for leaning how to teach. We hands on experience-both supervised and unsupervised with real language learners. The days were long, but structured well and the teachers were witty. It also offered a taste of what it would be like to live and work abroad. What's more, I'm still in touch with some of the friends I made!

The instructors were excellent. They were intuitive about complex problems and compassionate. With this kind of teaching the student will be launched into as a career, one needs an "inside-out" point of view. You will be "eliciting" responses from students. The TEFL Worldwide Prague course and experience greatly exceeded my expectations. Besides the learning, it was a super fun month where the whole class did a lot of socialising and exploring, I made lifelong friends, and had a life changing experience. As far as the education aspect went, it was very challenging and more demanding than other TEFL courses that I've heard about from my friends, which is great because I came out of the course feeling confident and ready to teach students of any English level, while some of my friends were terrified to begin their first teaching jobs abroad. The lessons were detailed, productive, and included a variety of resources and a lot of practical teaching experience, where we received constructive criticism and support through every aspect of planning and executing our lessons. I have been teaching overseas for 10 years since completing this course and I couldn't imagine doing it without the knowledge gained at TEFL Worldwide Prague.

Teaching English allowed me a skill so I could earn a living while traveling and living in various countries. TEFL Worldwide gave me that skill. The curriculum was well laid out, we gained real teaching experience, the teachers provided material that I used in my classes for years after and the course was challenging - they really made sure we were ready before we could earn the certificate. Beyond this, the community was inviting and my class became my family. Fourteen years later, I am still in touch with some of my classmates. After graduating college in the United States, I knew I wanted to live abroad for a stint but wasn’t sure how to get started. Luckily I stumbled upon TEFL Prague Worldwide and found my ticket to an overseas lifestyle. The 4-week course was incredibly intense but prepared me very well to teach and I had several job offers by the time the course ended. I only taught for five months in the end, but I took a media job in Prague that I never would have found let alone gotten had I not already been living in the city. I ended up staying in Prague for nearly three years before returning to the States for grad school. I’ve now worked as a U.S. Foreign Service Officer for eight years and credit my experience in Prague, starting with TEFL Worldwide, as launching this international lifestyle. I completed the TEFL course in August 2019 and had an excellent experience throughout the entirety of the course. Prior to the course, Chelisa and Cheryl were in frequent contact with me to provide all the information I needed about the course and to answer any questions I had. Since my course was a bigger group, we were taught by two different trainers, Kenny and Jazmin. They were both excellent instructors. Input sessions covered a variety of subjects related to teaching English, and all of the sessions were very well prepared and informative. Even though trainees are thrown into teaching from the very first week of the course, I felt prepared to teach my first lesson. The course is very intense, but if you manage your time effectively it’s no problem completing all of the assignments. Feedback on teaching practice was accurate, helpful, and very constructive. Even when being more critical of a trainee, the feedback definitely felt like it was given to help us, not to make us feel bad. There was always a trainer available to help during office hours if we needed assistance with lesson planning or other information related to the course. There was a large focus on grammar, both in increasing our own awareness of it as well as learning how to teach it. Cheryl has been fantastic with providing job guidance and interview preparation, and since the program has such a good reputation in Prague it has been easy to find a job here within a few weeks of graduation. I’m not currently looking to teach children but I took the Young Learner’s Workshop in case I want to in the future, and that was a valuable aspect of the course as well. The office staff were always very kind and helpful. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at TEFL Worldwide and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking to teach English abroad.

The TEFL course was an amazing experience that I wouldn’t trade for anything! I could watch myself grow during the entire course. I felt stronger and more confident in teaching every single day! Being a non-native speaker of English, TEFL also enabled me to clarify and to revise the English grammar and the English language in general. The staff is amazing and provides tons of support and advice. The course helped me to start a new chapter in my life.

After deliberating over doing a TEFL course approximately 3 years on and off, i eventually got round to doing it this year. Conscientious of the fact too that i had been away from school some 35 years by then i was naturally very apprehensive and unsure about going into it with no previous teaching English experience as it were. I was in the TEFL Worldwide Prague class of July 2019 so have recently just graduated. It was a great experience and between the support of the staff and my peers i have truly gained some great friends for life now, I have absolutely no regrets about my choice. The classes and instructors (Kenny, Jazmin and Adrian) were extremely helpful and supportive throughout my time there and treated any queries or doubts i had along the way with sensitivity and patience. Every minute of instruction and preparation was meaningful, well thought out and presented in such a way to give you the best chance in life which you will completely understand later. I could not have hoped for better help, guidance and support. The school has been very caring about all of us and support is ongoing long after. My certificate has offered me already no less than a dozen choices for TEFL opportunities between Moscow (where i live) Prague and Turkey to date which has more than exceeded my expectations after only 2 weeks from graduating. No doubt if you're interested in TEFL, you enjoy traveling, and Prague is not to be missed. Plus, it's so convenient for weekend trips around Europe and the surrounding countries. If you fall in love with the city (as everyone does), there are hundreds of jobs available, and you can absolutely start one the Monday after graduation - I did! More importantly, the course they offer is so intensive, and the structure they have for the coursework totally sets you up for success. The teacher trainers have a wealth of knowledge and experience, and the school offers lifetime support and resources. In just 4 weeks, you will be confidently prepared to go anywhere in the world to teach knowing you have the skills, techniques, and methodology to thrive in the field. I had no idea what I was going in for or what to expect, and I'm so happy I took this course, it has been the best investment and decision ever. The staff is great, always available, and the teachers.....the best I've had so far. Tefl Worldwide Prague provides life time support, and they're always happy to help in any way they can. It's a 4 week intensive course, one of the most stressing thing I've done but like I said before, best thing I've done and would absolutely recommend it to everyone. Confused? Puzzled? Curious? The title pretty much describes the intense everyday routine we had during the 4 weeks of course, if you wish to crack the code, you must live through the challenges of the 20 workdays. The pre-course correspondence was more than sufficient, you must be a fast applicant in order to claim your accommodation within the distance of 20 steps from the school. The course program is well structured, grammar is in the focus of the lectures. If you were exposed to dry and confusing grammar lessons during your education, you will be more than pleased to experience the vibrant, fresh, playful and creative methodology Kenny and Jazmin, the two trainers, are using. Spite the fact I have a teacher degree and 8 years of teaching/lecturing experience, I've learned more useful methods, approaches and tricks during these 4 weeks than during my college years and tenure. Never had such great teachers like Kenny and Jazmin before, their expertise, approach, dedication, enthusiasm, wit and positive energy was essential in acquiring the tricks of the trade and crowning the course with a certificate. Along the lectures we attended, we held 7 lessons to the students of the school, with prepared lesson plans. The feedback from the trainers was more than helpful, the analysis we received after every lesson was in depth and made us to strive more to eradicate any flaws already at our next lesson. Grammar presentations (two of them) were among our tasks, as well the need analysis of a potential one-on-one student that was assigned to us. This latter was the most complex task, it was practically a full screening of the student's background, the student's speaking, reading, listening and writing skills. The strengths and weaknesses were taken under the magnifying glass. Consequently, we had to assign the student into the A1-C2 grid upon her/his skills. Everybody who survives the intensity of the last week of the course is rightfully awarded with the certificate. The language awareness exam is the pinnacle of the course, there should be no problem passing it, if you paid attention at the lectures and took useful notes. Cheryl, the founder and managing director of TEFL Worldwide Prague, will be kind to answer all your burning questions before the start of the course and she will provide you support during and after the completion of the course. Dana and the administrative team were very effective with the essential correspondence in the pre-course period and during the course itself. And something that one cannot omit in such a review - Prague is one of the (if not THE) most beautiful cities I've visited, you will have a rich offer of activities and events. TEFLWorldWide Prague cannot be topped. If you are serious about teaching English as a foreign language, this is where you want to begin your training. The instructors have years of teaching English in countries around the world, not just Europe. After completing the course, I planned on working in South Korea, a country I had never been to. Luckily, one of the instructors had taught there in the past, so, they were able to give me a little advice on what to expect from Korean culture and teaching there. Once I was in Korea, I noticed that I had a lot more knowledge than many of the foreign teachers I knew, many of whom had no formal TEFL training at all. The ones who did had mostly taken online courses which didn't leave many of them fully prepared to lead a classroom. Even though most of the TEFL/ESL jobs available in South Korea are for teaching children, there are positions for teaching adults too, which TEFLWorldwide Prague alumni may find more suitable. Either way, the knowledge you bring from Prague will go a long way.

I did the April to May 2019 course, and it was fantastic. I couldn't have asked for more out of this challenging, yet fun class. A month flew by and I feel very prepared to be a teacher. I used to think I didn't have the personality type to be a teacher, but now I know I am for sure. I can't recommend enough to anyone considering going to TEFL WorldWide Prague!

I started considering a TEFL program in 2015 and was in contact with several different schools. For the majority of 2018 Cheryl and Dana were in contact with me regularly to answer my questions, provide information, and give support. Never once did the staff push for enrollment or commitment to the program, but continually offered patient (and quick!) responses to any questions or concerns I posed. I attended the November 2018 course and I loved it! I was very hesitant about joining TEFL Worldwide Prague. I thought it was too good to be true and a bit of scam. I was so hesitant about the first 5 excellent reviews, that I read every single review before deciding to join the program. The reviews were 100% accurate. This program was extremely helpful to me as a teacher and learner in all aspects of life. I find myself using what I learned in my daily life and conversations. The biggest advice I would give to anyone joining the program is: Ask Questions and Complete Assignments asap! The longer you wait, the harder the program will seem. They give plenty of room to complete assignments and lesson plans and offer great guidance to those who do not procrastinate and expect a hand-out. You will teach within the first week, breathe! It's a learning experience. Take each feedback session as a way to improve not only for the course, but for when you teach outside of TEFL Worldwide Prague as well! Socialize with your classmates, ask them questions, and you'll do great. Take great notes and explore how Beautiful Prague is. Go to the extra workshops. They help with job placement and if you stay in Prague, you're chances of getting a job right after graduation are about 99.9% (as long as you put the work in to apply). I would do it all over again and have no regrets. I loved the course, program, students, and workshops. (do keep in mind, some students are much nicer than others and no one student is alike. I just completed the TEFL course and can honestly say that I am fully prepared and ready to teach English. When people asked me how I was going to teach English to Czech people, even though I couldn't speak Czech, I couldn't answer them. Now that I have completed the course though, I know exactly what to do. The TEFL course is extremely thorough and a lot of work, however it is necessary in order to prepare you for the teaching jobs that follow. Everyone was extremely helpful throughout the entire course whether it was course related, housing, job guidance, or just general information pertaining to living in a new country. Never having any teaching experience in my life I wasn't sure what to expect during the program. It turned out to be much better than expected; between the information you learn in such a short period of time, and the helpfulness of the teachers. It can be very challenging at times, but when it was all over with it was a very rewarding feeling. The program sets you up with schools around the area that are hiring, so finding a job couldn't have been easier. You will meet some great people and I strongly recommend it to anyone!

This course went above and beyond to help prepare me to teach. I am a finance major so I had no previous experience in teaching before this course. I just graduated and got a job the following week. I feel completely qualified to be a teacher.

I’d definitely recommend this program to anyone who’s interested in teaching English abroad. You’ll teach small classes of adult students so it’s great for getting more comfortable presenting and teaching in front of groups. Also, you’ll get practice speaking slower and using simpler sentences so your students can understand you. The teacher trainers are very experienced teaching English abroad and they’re encouraging and friendly. After watching my lessons, they would give me great advice that I could apply to my next lesson. The course is a lot of work but all of the assignments and practice planning lessons are useful. Over the course, I got a lot faster at planning my lessons. However, most of my weekends were spent on assignments and lesson planning so if you’re not staying in Prague to teach after the course, I recommend planning to stay in Prague an extra week after the course ends so you can enjoy the city.

TELF worldwide's program is absolutely excellent. I have been teaching in Korea for 10 months now. The things I learned in the course have greatly impacted my time as a teacher here. During the course we learned a lot of good activities, and ways to plan lessons. Additionally, the course taught us how to take pride in our roles and provided some instruction on how to act as teachers. If I have the opportunity I'd like to take the course again. My advice if you want to take this course: use a planner and make sure you schedule time to study, plan your lessons, and set aside time to explore the city!

This program is no walk in the park, and you come out the other side feeling like you are ready to teach anyone with knowledge and confidence. You have to focus, work hard, and put your best effort into it while taking the advice of multiple instructors. They are nice, knowledgeable, and you come out feeling well-prepared and maybe even over-prepared for real teaching experiences. There are languages schools abroad who know this program because of how well it prepares its students, and they are constantly looking to hire these students if you are looking to stay abroad. Because you have to put so much into the program, I suggest adding time to either side of the program for sight seeing, as you are using even the weekends for the program. It is possible to see the city itself, but not much time for going outside the city like to the Jewel castle. It is a great program, and you will make some great friends from all over the world. A wonderful experience I wouldn't change for the world.

I loved my time at TEFL Worldwide Prague! I met some amazing people and loved the city and course. The lessons were engaging and fun, Adrienne and Kenny and the other trainers were so helpful, amazing resources and really brilliant quality teaching. Both my husband and I took the course together and enjoyed every minute of it! Our instructors were incredibly knowledgable and experienced and all know various languages. They did their very best to guide us through the intense course work and got to know us on a personal level, and they were quite an inspiration for us to continue to travel and work on the go. We were also lucky to have a very fun group of classmates that we're still staying in touch with frequently. On top of it all, living in one of the best cities in Europe made it a memorable experience that we would strongly recommend for anyone who loves to travel.

This program changed my life. This was just as hard as a university program. You will start teaching on day two. It's well worth the effort, I got a job offer before I graduated. Many people think since they are a native English speaker than this program will be easy and teaching will be a breeze. This is not true at all. You will have to work and study hard to pass this course. It's well worth it, I passed and my life has never been the same. I cannot thank the teachers enough for their help and support. I am now an online teacher and visited many countries.

The school is very well organized. Teachers are great and they are always ready to help. You can tell they have done this for years and they are always improving. The school has a huge amount of job offers and contacts all over the world. Another reason to choose this course is because Prague is an awesome, beautiful, full of charm city to be for 1 month (and cheap).

For teaching preparation, they prepare you better than anyone. The content is excellent, the EFL Awareness you gain is hugely significant and the feedback after lessons are great. Kenny, Adrienne and Adrian have 60-70 years experience teaching in 50 countries. You won't get better feedback anywhere else. The experience you gain is very much more classroom-heavy rather than 1-1 teaching. If you really want to be a good teacher and climb the ESL ladder, then this is the course for you. If you are just using TEFL to travel, then I would recommend a cheaper one. For me, it was the right choice. They help you become a very good teacher and they also are very helpful after the course in helping you find work, especially in Europe and of course Prague itself. The course is extremely exhausting but if you want to make a career in ESL and/or want to travel and live a good life, then it is a more than worthwhile investment.

My experience with TEFL Worldwide, in just one month, gave me more insight into teaching than my Graduate School program back home. They fully and intensively immerse you into the world of teaching English as a foreign language. This includes leading your own lessons as well as some focus on the pedagogical aspects of being a teacher, such as looking into how people learn and deconstructing language as a whole. I left TEFL Worldwide knowing that I was able to teach a good class. On top of this, the instructors, housing, and general environment of both TEFL Worldwide's facilities and the city of Prague are incredible. The instructors are knowledgeable and friendly, but expect you to perform to a standard through their rigorous training. Prague itself is a wonderful, once in a lifetime experience that is impossible to fully describe in one short review. But basically, I felt safe, I had fun, and I knew I was getting my money's worth.

I completed the TEFL worldwide course in Prague four years ago, and I’m still teaching here. Thanks to the job fair they held, I was able to get multiple offers for jobs immediately upon graduation, and I felt fully prepared to teach my first class. TEFL Worldwide gave me the chance to practice teaching in a real classroom, and also taught me more grammar than I learned throughout school. The instructors made it interesting, were friendly, and the tour at the beginning of the program and option to live with other TEFL students provides a smooth transition to life abroad. I fully recommend this program for anyone who loves English and wants to become a teacher!

Taking my TEFL course in Prague was an unreal experience. Help was available from the very beginning to the end and even now, months after graduating. It's great to know that I can contact anyone at TEFL Worldwide Prague for advice and help landing a job at anytime. Kenny and Adrienne were amazing, so fun and great at what they do. The hands-on training seemed terrifying at first, but I truly feel it was the best way to learn and made my fellow classmates and I better teachers. 10/10 would recommend to anyone wanting to take a TEFL course!

I was very impressed with how organized this program was. The course was very challenging and rewarding. When I was done, I felt prepared to teach English. I have so many wonderful memories from my time in Prague. If I could do it all over again, I would. My instructors were fabulous and made this whole experience fun and engaging.

Having only completed my AA and being the youngest in the group it would have been easy to be an outcast. But at TEFL Worldwide that was not the case. My roommate and I (paired with the help of TEFL Worldwide) became the best of friends, my classmates we're supportive and made a point to include one another in our adventures in and outside of class, and last but certainly not least my teachers where phenomenal. The teachers were not only knowledgeable, they taught in the style they asked of us. They also checked in with us, offered insightful support, and were always patient. As people they were kind, considerate, and engaging. As a young woman the TEFL Worlwide team made a point to make me feel safe and supported from the moment I sighned up. Aiding in my search for an apartment and upon my arrival meeting up with me so I had a map and friendly face. The curriculum was hard and it was comprehensive (including Czech lessons so we know what it's like on the other side of the table) but it prepared me and I don't remember the long hours, I remember laughter and happiness. Plus our students know we are learning and they were always supportive, patient, and on occasion halarious. TEFL Worldwide is not an institution it is a community.

Ever since I stepped into the school to attend the summer course, I felt like I was at home. Everyone is super friendly and the teachers are always willing to give you the time required to help you succeed.

This program definitely prepares you to teach English as a foreign language. The teachers are so dedicated and helpful and give you great tools to use in the classroom. The school is small making it easy to communicate with and get to know everyone. The overall atmosphere is very welcoming and supportive. Be prepared for actual work - the course was challenging and entirely worth it.

I think the best part of this program is the staff and the support from the alumni community. The content was perfectly executed and I couldn’t have asked for a better 1-month intensive course. You immediately jump into the classroom with students who are really learning and all the while you can gain experience with the help of experts. This course is not for the faint of heart. It's a super intensive course in 4 weeks. The homework load is a lot and dedication to the workload needs to be addressed every day. However, it was well worth it. The support of the teachers and office staff was consistent. Whenever I had a question, it was promptly answered.

I had the best experience with TEFL worldwide Prague! From the moment I arrived, I felt at home. The support staff did an amazing job getting students settled and offering opportunities to get to know classmates early on in the course. We became a close knit group quickly, which made the entire experience so enjoyable! The classes and teachers were rigorous, helpful and personable. The course was intensive but in the end I felt like I had all the tools I needed to teach a class on my own. This course went above and beyond any expectations I would have and I would take it again if I could!

One of the major reasons I chose this course was the practical experience teaching. For many other programs, classroom practice is an afterthought, but at TEFL Worldwide it was the driver and the judge of the whole learning experience. There were students in 4 different levels Additionally the instruction was professional and practical, and class materials were relevant and helpful, and the instructors were knowledgable and enthusiastic. Being a language teacher with over 20 years of classroom experience, I was a bit apprehensive that this program would not be a good fit for me. But I always wanted to live in Prague as well as update my skillset and see how the TEFL field had evolved since my "salad days." I found that this program was perfect for me. The pre-travel planning assistance covered all of my questions and a taxi was waiting for me when I landed in Prague to take me to the lovely flat that was to be my home away from home for the next month. The breakfast food plan at the adjacent hotel was affordable and delicious, fortifying me for a daily schedule that was the perfect mix of cutting-edge linguistic theory (mornings) and real-world practice teaching (afternoons) with students of all ages and levels. The observations and evaluations -by both instructors and peers- were concise and helpful and given in a spirit of professionalism that encouraged all of us to succeed, evolve and excel. Post-course seminars and "meet n greets" with local employers helped us to polish our resumes and interview skills. The network of alums also furnished us with job prospects well beyond the local markets. For anyone who is contemplating a career change, or looking for a new adventure this program is small enough to maintain a highly personalized touch and large enough to inspire excellence and curiosity to expand horizons and borders. With a city like Prague for an extended campus, I can't recommend it enough for students of all ages and nationalities as it provides a very reputable credential good in the global market and preparation to enter the wonderful world of TEFL.

If you want to become a serious English language teacher, this is the place to start. If you’re looking to take a vacation and coast through training, don’t come here. After graduating, I felt like I could teach any subject, not just English! The training provided by the staff is incredible. They are so knowledgeable, experienced and helpful! I am so glad I chose to be trained at TEFLWorldWide Prague.

TEFL Worldwide’s one-month course in Prague was excellent. The instructors real care about helping you succeed, and every class is taught using the techniques you are learning, so your time is never wasted. The live, hands on teaching practice was invaluable, as was the comprehensive feedback from the observers after each teaching session. Plus, it’s in Prague, one of the coolest cities in Europe. I enjoyed every minute of it, and the school staff has been very helpful with job placement assistance.

I had the most amazing experience at TEFL World Wide Prague. The work is hard and intense, but they do a good job at creating a good community quick between you and all your class mates! This course is definitely challenging but so rewarding and will open up many doors for old and new teachers alike. You will not regret enrolling in this program. I took this class almost two years and have taught in Vietnam, Taiwan, Czech Republic and America as a result.

This course went above and beyond what I was expecting. The staff and instructors were so kind and helpful; they even helped me with non course related issues, like scheduling a doctors appointment. The course was incredibly informative and offered a chance to teach actual students. There was also visa information job guidance sessions. Now I'm off to teach in China!

Not only did I spend a month getting TEFL certified, but I got to live in a beautiful city and meet some of the most amazing people. Although the course was intense, a lot of support was offered and if you kept on top of your work, there was no issue.

This course was all I expected it would be, and even better. I had no previous teaching experience, but at the end of the four weeks I felt prepared for a teaching job abroad. The two instructors are, I think, the best teachers I ever had (clear, methodological, and funny). It's a lot of work, but I definitely recommend this course if you want to get TEFL certified. And Prague is a great city to spend a month in. It took me about six weeks to find a job after the course (being a non-native speaker, and as I said, without any teaching experience). The job guidance they provide helps.

This was probably one of the most difficult things I ever did, but it was also one of the best things I ever did. I was someone, that didn't know if I really wanted to teach, but wanted to test myself, to see if I could it. I had a few tears during the experience, but it was worth it. I recommend, to anyone, at any age, testing yourself, to see what you can accomplish, definitely gives you confidence. Everyone at TEFL Prague was fabulous. They were all so supportive.

I had been teaching English in Russia for several years but this programme exposed teaching for me from a different perspective: the understanding of language, teaching methods and, of course, a great experience. Though we were busy from morn till night(the course is pretty demanding), we were still able to explore Prague and it's closest sights, hang out, get to know each other better and become friends. This was a start of a wonderful journey!

I had read so many reviews on how great this program was, and with so many positive reviews I thought it must be too good to be true. However, I went ahead and applied and it was the best decision of my life! To say that Kenny, Adrienne, and all of your classmates become your family in 4 weeks is an understatement. I grew so much through this program, and although it is very tough, it prepares you 100% for teaching and life in Prague. Kenny and Adrienne are so helpful and push you to your fullest. They truly prepared me more than I thought possible! I cannot recommend this program enough; it is the best decision I have ever made in my life! I attended TEFL Worldwide in April 2013 and I still use many techniques I learned there! I felt very prepared to teach afterward, and would recommend to anyone! The only thing that was lacking (at least at that time) was preparation for teaching children. The focus on grammar helped me a ton as teacher, though, and has continued to help me in my writing since!

Joining TEFL Worldwide Prague has been one of the best decision of my life. The application process was very easy. At the beginning I thought I wasn't going to be able to join the course because English is my second language. However, I just had to type a little paragraph explaining why I thought I'd be a good teacher and couple of days later I was accepted into the course. The course isn't hard but very intensive. Since it is only a month long, expect to have long classes and to teach the first Wednesday of week 1. There are assignments due throughout the course and teaching happens twice a week. The instructors are great at what they do and everyone is willing to help you with whatever you need. You will graduate feeling pretty confident to teach any level of English and any student age. Another great thing about the course is that you get to meet people and make friends. I've met some awesome friends in Prague that i wouldn't have met if it hadn't been for TEFL Worldwide. Prague is also a very fun city and there is so much to do and explore! It never gets old! Prague has a huge demand for English teachers so getting a job isn't hard. This was a demanding course with plenty of help available to the students. Every day there was a great deal of material presented, and every day the instructors were available to clarify, illuminate, and advise. Job guidance, housing guidance, and general travel and visa advice was also offered. The instructors made the lessons engaging and usually fun, as well. The environment created by the instructors allowed for a collegial atmosphere amongst students, faculty and staff. A bonus I never expected from a short-term program: fellow students are now dear friends. I highly recommend TEFL Worldwide Prague.

A truly in-depth and consistently useful course where I gained experience and support for life, I met friends for life and now have job opportunities all around the world. There was unexpected extra input sessions which have really proved useful in the classroom.

If you're looking for a TEFL course in Prague, then TEFL Worldwide Prague is definitely the address. I signed up for this course only reading previous reviews, not quite sure what to expect. Well, for starters, the teachers are top notch. Both Kenny and Adrienne are extremely patient, always willing to help and adept teachers who "know their stuff". I myself have taught different age groups in the past, and wasn't quite sure if I could learn how to teach. I mean, how different could it be? Boy, was I wrong. So many ideas, so little time! The course is many things. But it is NOT easy. Prepare to bust your guts for one month, and save your time for lesson planning and revising. If you want to have a month of site seeing in Prague, you better try sometime else in the future. Because, for this course, you must be committed 100%. And it is worth it! I've had multiple job offers after graduating and could cherry pick the one which suited me the most. TEFL Worldwide Prague has an updated pool of job offers that is always up-to-date and you can trust the staff to help you out with different aspects after you've graduated. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to teach English abroad.

While some are turned-off by the fact that the school isn't located in the city centre, don't let that deter you - if anything, it probably helped in terms of making sure that I buckled down and got my work done! It's well connected to all forms of public transport, so you're by no means cut-off from Prague or the ability to see the city when you have free time. Kenny and Adrienne are fabulous instructors. While the course can be intense, there is plenty of help to make sure that you get the most out of what you're learning and that you have a thorough understanding. Unlike other courses out there that expect you to already know English inside out (one of which I had already wasted some £££ on), the TEFL Worldwide team arm you with the tools to learn new aspects of English that you may not be familiar with or that future employers may want you to have a better understanding of. There is nothing that you can't ask the team here. They are genuinely such awesome people and they want to make sure that you succeed and enjoy your time in Prague. Less than a week from graduation in May and I had a job offer for a summer school not far from where I live in the UK. If you have any specific questions, you can get in touch with the team via the website - you can even ask to be put in touch with an alumni, which speaks volumes to me about the type of school they are.

The course is exhausting. You will have nights with few hours sleep. This course, you will think, ridiculously over-prepares you for teaching in the real world. But it is better to be over-prepared than under-prepared, right? The course can cause a lot of stress, but if you work very hard you will overcome it. If you are not a natural teacher, then perhaps it might not be for you. But if you love the idea of teaching, you will love it! And you will overcome it. The ridiculously hard work, bear in mind, is temporary because once you master teaching all aspects of teaching the English Language, you won’t have trouble remembering it. It just takes time and practice, and lots of hard work over the 4 weeks. It is the same as teaching primary school English, but to adults, for whom English is a secondary language. Personally, although I had many difficulties to begin with, I began to really enjoy the course. I grew into it. The last 2 weeks have all the exams, assessments, assignments and deadlines, but those weeks I was ironically least stressed out about. My confidence increased, because my knowledge of what was required began to grow. The teacher instincts became natural and instinctive to me, which I was really pleased with. Depending on what your personal long and short-term goals are following the course, that will determine how highly you rate the course and whether you think it was the right decision. I am very confident and very optimistic that this course will in time turn into the best decision I ever made. I am 23 and have many years ahead I would like to think. I will have a teaching job soon. The opportunities, socially, financially, linguistically, travel-wise and the idea of living and working in Prague with ultra-flexible hours over the summer, are impossible to beat in my opinion. It literally unlocks so many doors and you find out so much about yourself and the relationship you have with yourself. With the certificate, after the course, I don’t think there is a better, more productive or more proactive way to live one’s life. It is so easy to get a job, which is so flexible because you can choose to work the hours that are suited to you at all the language schools and companies. The lifestyle in Prague after the course is reminiscent of Woody Allen’s films, namely “Vicky Christina Barcelona” and “To Rome with Love”. Especially in the summer. What’s there not to like about that, eh? It is certainly worth the effort I am telling you! The 2 teacher trainers and assessors, Kenny and Adrienne are fantastically good. Cheryl and the rest of the staff really go beyond the extra mile trying to help you, whether it is with the course accommodation after the course, or jobs after the course. They are so helpful, experienced, knowledgeable, polite, professional and friendly. They really give 110% and that is no exaggeration! You also get real students which is also a very important experience with observers (other trainees) and the trainers who have decades of experience teaching ESL. The experience and feedback was extremely helpful in all cases. Although criticism at times was hard to take having me put so much effort in, it is so pivotal and beneficial because it really helps you get where you need to go to in order to be the best teacher you can be. Having 3 teacher trainers that observe you who between them have taught in 60 countries over 20-30 years each, is so helpful. You will not get better constructive criticism or feedback. In terms of aspects of the course, the information is priceless and invaluable. They will always be of use. I was introduced to the use of phonetics for the first time, despite having studied 2 languages for 7 years of my life. The phonemic charts will be extremely useful. The course was extremely illuminating in highlighting the most effective ways to pre-teach the new lexis. How to teach Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking lessons were also of extreme help. I also had to teach classes how to use a monolingual dictionary in the English language for the first time. In addition, there was the one-to-one assignment which although it was a relentless administrative burden, it was essential in pointing out the things to look for, prepare for and assess. They also help you do lessons on grammar and functional language too.

This TEFL course was an amazing experience. We had amazing teachers and were able to teach real students starting our second day. Everything we learned was necessary and useful while teaching ourselves, not a minute of the course was a waste of time. Everything was super organized and the support system was great - from before the course, during, and after! I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is considering a TEFL certification.

TEFL Worldwide offers some of the absolute best training in Prague. The instructors, first of all, are incredible. I have never met two people with so much knowledge and real world experience on one subject. The staff is so supportive leading up to the course, during the course, and even after the course. Although I have been teaching English for a couple of years, it has been such a great surprise to realize that I still have so many things to learn regarding teaching. Our trainers were really thorough and I was really impressed with their patience and attention to details.I loved the fact that they would revise after each lesson and explanations were given as to why certain activities or steps were employed. Probably the most intense 4 weeks of my entire life, but it was 100% worth it. It has been one week since graduating TEFL and I have landed 2 full time job offers and a summer camp job for the month of July. Now, I have three different interviews and have the confidence to take on this career. I couldn't imagine where my life would be if I hadn't taken the risk and moved abroad. I came to Prague with two big suitcases and no intention of going back to the US. The course was tough but rewarding. The only negative I have has nothing to do with the course at all, but rather the hot summer weather. I came in August 2015 and there was a really bad heat wave. Unfortunately, in the Czech Republic, having air conditioning is not common at all. The course coordinators and the headmaster did everything in their power to keep us comfortable and cool. They had mobile air conditioner tube things that they used which helped a little bit and we received constant tips from the headmaster to go sit in a shopping mall or go to the movie theater so that we could stay cool. It didn't affect my experience too much and we all survived in the end. The course itself was masterfully crafted and we were provided with job and apartment hunt assistance long after the course was over. It's February 2018 and I'm still in Prague. I'm currently working on my master's degree in MTESOL online and my life has never been happier. Don't hesitate. Just do it! You won't regret it!

This TEFL course is well organized and teaches you so much in 4 weeks. I could not have asked for more from the instructors and office staff. I would highly recommend making this the place to get your TEFL certification.

That title might be a little misleading, because I had no problems in Prague, but I had to do it for the pun. My whirlwind month in Prague with TEFL Worldwide Prague took me right from the frying pan and into the inferno of teaching English. If you want to learn how to not just teach English, but teach English well, this is the course for you. Right out of the gate you're in the classroom, putting the tricks and techniques you learn in class to work in context. At first this seems totally crazy—how can I possibly teach after ONE DAY of the course? Well, there's a method to the madness! All that extra practice is invaluable, and Kenny and Adrienne are the best of the best when it comes to TEFL instructors. All around this was an incredible experience! I've made lifelong friends, fallen in love with a city that wasn't quite on the top of my list (but definitely is now), and discovered a new passion for teaching. I cannot recommend this program enough. Not only do you become fast friends with everyone in the course, but there are tons of alumni teaching in Prague to show you the ropes and decompress after a rough lesson with a pivo (or two). Seriously, I don't know what you're waiting for!

Moved to Prague a few days before the course began, and everyone on the course was so helpful it made settling in seamless. The course is difficult, and there is a lot of work involved, but it is definitely manageable and extremely rewarding.

My experience with TEFL Worldwide was one of the best education experiences I've ever had! The class was difficult but rewarding. The instructors gave honest feedback and encouraged personal growth. We were teaching real students within the first week and soon felt comfortable in front of a classroom. The instructors did a phenomenal job teaching us about our students and showing us their perspective. This course also prepared students for their careers through workshops on how to apply for Visas, how to write a CV, and they even provided a job fair with local organizations. Best use of my time, money, and effort. I wouldn't trade a moment of it.

This course was one of the most informative and well organize courses I've ever taken. I learned so much in the short four weeks, and yes, I was mildly sleep deprived (Many parts my fault, I tend to spend too much time on little things and then don't want to rush through anything. Cue 2am lesson planning) and yes, it can be quite stressful, but I never expected anything else. But after the course it was a breeze to plan lessons and due to the classes I taught in the course, with real ESL learners (not just other students) I felt so much more prepared going into my first job. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to teach ESL, anywhere in the world. Their network of alums all over the world are there to help answer questions and help with job placement and the school's job board page is thorough and regularly updated.

TEFL Worldwide was an amazing program. I learned so much about teaching. I love that we started teaching on day 2 as it made me more comfortable in the classroom. The instructors are wonderful. I cannot recommend this program enough.

This was a wonderful program. The instructors were well prepared and had a breadth of knowledge. I learned so much more than I thought I would. The hands on experience with students was so valueable! While in class instruction is helpful there's nothing like working with real language learners. Absolutely would recommend.

I felt TEFL Worldwide Prague really prepared me for what was going to come with teaching english abroad. I stayed in Prague and was very well set up with opportunities and the teachers were always available for advice and perspective when I was making my decisions. We got a great deal of real hands-on teaching experience before graduation and it made me feel really comfortable stepping into a classroom on my own. It also gave me a really good idea of the levels that I felt comfortable teaching. I would recommend this program to anyone, but it is a lot of work. So, four weeks of a lot of work, but well worth it for the amount of information and resources you get from the teachers and the company. :)

My fiancee and I took the course back in June of 2017 and I could not recommend the course enough to all of my friends! The entire staff was supportive throughout the program and really made the difference. I felt as if I was prepared for the teaching world after I left the TEFL Worldwide Prague course and I have had a fairly productive start to my teaching career in large part due to this course.

When they tell you this course is TOUGH and a ton of work, they aren't lying. But it's completely and utterly worth it. Starting week 1, day 1 they just throw you into the swing of things. You start teaching actual ESL students on day 2. Throughout the course, during the mornings, you're taken through demo lessons (reading, writing, speaking, listening, LOTS of grammar) in which you are the student. In the afternoons, you teach lessons to students ranging from elementary level to upper-intermediate. Evenings after the day at TEFL are spent lesson planning, studying, etc. Most days, I was working from 9am-10/11pm at night. These long days, however, are so worth it and really make you prepared enough to teach in just four weeks. Kenny and Adrienne are wonderful instructors. Their demo lessons were almost always fun (yes, fun) and interesting. They're always helpful in answering your questions and give good and honest feedback. Highly recommend this course!

I think that earning my TEFL Certificate at TEFL Worldwide was a great investment of my time and money. Adrienne and Kenny are AMAZING teachers, amongst the best I've ever had in my life. The staff is extremely helpful and supportive, the facilities are conducive to a great teaching/learning environment, and the overall atmosphere is warm and friendly. Pick TEFL Worldwide if you want to earn a TEFL Certificate; the price is more than reasonable, Prague is a wonderful city, TEFL Worldwide is a fantastic company, and my overall experience as an English teacher has been positive, mostly due to the foundational knowledge I got at TEFL Worldwide.

Great course by great people! You’re actually somewhat over-prepared for the English-teaching job market, and it was also quite easy to get work (more than I wanted to take). One employer – from big language school – told me that she has noticed that Prague Worldwide TEFL students are always the best of the applicants they get (not making that up). The TEFL course was intensive but Kenny and Adrienne were awesome and made it a great experience. They are wonderful people, and very knowledgable and skilled. And you get insanely detailed, perceptive, and helpful feedback (not to diminish from anyone else’s feedback, but especially Adrienne’s). Also – the “office staff” – very nice and go out of their way to be helpful. Etc. etc.

I had already been teaching for around 5 years when I took this course, and it still gave me a huge amount of invaluable new ways of thinking about teaching from both mine and the students' perspectives. It's been 9 months since the course ended, and I'm still finding new ways to use the the things I picked up. Absolutely worth every last penny and every hour of hard work. Cannot recommend it enough!

Great course - definitely prepared me for real teaching experience. I had a job upon graduation and felt very confident in front of the variety of ages/levels that I ended up teaching. The instructors were great and gave many examples of different teaching methods and successful ways to get information across. They were always available to give help and advice and I found their feedback especially helpful when learning how best to get across to certain people/groups. It's definitely a lot of work - worth it in the end. It's an intense four weeks but in the end you feel prepared to teach levels ranging from elementary to upper intermediate. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to teach in Prague or anywhere! Great city, great people.

Nothing negative to say ! The instructors were great. The course's content was in my opinion appropriate, and covered everything I expected. It's a lot of work but definitely achievable. And in addition to that, Prague is a really nice city. In short, I completely recommend !

This was a great experience and one of the hardest things I have ever done in my life. The school admin keep you well informed and help you out as much as possible. The teachers, Kenny and Adrienne are amazing instructors. There were times I wanted to cry and quit, but they kept me going along with my classmates. Most of us had no prior knowledge of teaching and everyone was very supportive. If you are looking for a life changing decision, something new and you want to travel the world... this is a great place to start.

This school is the real deal. The instructors have many years of experience in teaching English as a foreign language and in teacher training. If you are not feeling confident about teaching English when you arrive, you definitely will be by the time your month long course is over. The instructors are very knowledgeable and offer loads of constructive feedback after lessons. If you are serious about teaching English as a foreign language and you're willing to put in the work, this course is for you. The staff is very helpful and they genuinely care about the trainees. They give trainees a lot of information before they arrive and if you have questions they will leave none unanswered. During the course trainees are guided through the process of securing visas and exposed to local employers at a job fair. The people at TEFLWorldwide care about their alumni as well, keeping in touch with them on social media and email.

I found TEFL Worldwide by perusing Google, and I'm very glad I took the time to find the highest rated TEFL course I could. The certification course is demanding, but well worth the effort. Kenny and Adrienne, the two head teachers, are among the best teachers I've ever had in my life for any subject, and they prepared me well for teaching English in Prague. The support staff at TEFL Worldwide was equally excellent, and offered help and guidance whenever I needed it, even after completion of the course. I couldn't recommend TEFL Worldwide enough; they provided me with the comprehension, knowledge, and skills to become a successful English teacher.

I took the TEFL course in March/April 2017 of 2017. Like almost everyone in our class, I had no previous teaching experience and was pretty nervous about the whole thing going into it. Let me start off by saying that I know what you're thinking while you go over these reviews. I too thought to myself, "There has to be a catch" and "These seem too good to be true" but after taking the course I can honestly say they are 100% justified. Kenny and Adrienne are awesome instructors and are extremely generous with their time and knowledge and are very dedicated to seeing their students succeed. They provide a great balance of wisdom, advice, encouragement, support, and constructive criticism that both push and allow the students to become the best teachers they can possibly be. As others have noted, the course itself is pretty intensive and very difficult (you start teaching on the 2nd day), but as crazy as it may seem at the time, everything is very well organized, and has the clear and stated purpose of preparing you for any and all scenarios you may encounter once you get out on your own. The admin. staff is also awesome helping out with stuff like housing arrangements, showing us around the nearby mall, fixing the coffee maker, answering visa questions, and, if you're lucky, saving you a few hours by helping you find a topic for your grammar presentation. In short, if you're thinking about taking a TEFL course in Prague (or anywhere for that matter), I cannot recommend this program enough.

Taking this course was a great experience. I made long lasting friendships and learned everything I needed to know in order to become a TEFL teacher. The course was very intensive and involved everything from learning the fundamental basics of phonetics and making lesson plans, to teaching actual classes and having a one-on-one tutoring session with a student. After graduating from the course I quickly found a job teaching English and was able to fulfill my dream of living in Europe. Prague is a beautiful city, so it made a wonderful backdrop for the course. From what I learned talking to students who took courses at other schools, I firmly believe I made the right decision in choosing this school, and came out more fully prepared to embark on the adventure of teaching than I would have elsewhere.

I took this certificate course in spring 2015 and I’m really glad I did. It was the first time traveling abroad on my own so I was quite nervous about the whole situation. It’s a small school but you really get the most out of it. There are 24 student-teachers at the start of every program and they’re split into two classes. You’ll also be assigned to a group of three. You’ll start teaching actual ESL learners on day 2 and will continue teaching an assigned topic every other day. This might sound hard, but every part of the program is designed to teach you everything you need to know in order to prepare and deliver a lesson. I initially thought their library was small until I realized that they had more resources than I needed to plan my lessons. In the morning, you’ll be the student and receive instruction on teaching. In the afternoon, you’ll be the teacher for local adult students (mostly adults from all different backgrounds and levels). You’ll get to observe and offer feedback to the student-teachers who are both in your group and outside of your group. You’ll also be observed by one of the instructors during each of your lessons and at the end of the lesson, they will provide you with the most comprehensive feedback (along with a pass/fail grade) both in person and on paper. Every staff member is super friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. The program is intense, so be prepared to work hard. The instructors are all really good at what they do. Not only are they experienced, but they have a way of teaching you content that is enjoyable and relatable. At the end of the course, you’ll be surprised at how much you’ve learned and accomplished. I definitely gained much more than I expected. If you’re planning to apply to this course, I’d also suggest to arrive a week or so earlier to explore the city and get adjusted to the time zone. You can also explore the city on the weekends, but there are just so many places to visit.

I was 24 years old and on my first holiday abroad in Italy and France in 2014, when by the end of my holiday in Paris I began to frantically search for ways on how I could live in this magical land. I didn't want to leave. I stumbled upon TEFL Worldwide Prague and the rest was history. I was of Czech ancestry and now I had the chance to live in my ancestral homeland and Europe, learn Czech, while at the same time learn how to teach English as a foreign language, my favorite subject in school. It was a no-brainer! I was ready for a new challenge and phase in my life. The application was smooth and easy and I received detailed answers to all of my questions. I even received a phone call from a previous TEFL graduate on how to prepare and be successful in the course. Moving abroad, especially for an American without an EU passport, can be very stressful, daring, and risky. With TEFL Worldwide Prague I did not feel this at all. It was easy-breezy. Upon acceptance into the program I read their information pamphlet religiously and was absolutely prepared with every obstacle that the bureaucracy of Czech immigration could throw at me. Not to mention, TEFL Worldwide has connections with visa agents in Prague who can arrange all of this bureaucratic work for you on your behalf. The only thing you need to worry about is to have all of your ducks in a row before the course starts, the most important document being a notarized bank statement declaring a minimum amount of funds for a Czech visa. If you don't wish to stay in the Czech Republic, then TEFL Worldwide has connections with language schools all around the world and the school provides networks from TEFL alumni on finding these international positions. One of the most useful things provided by the school for those wishing to stay in the Czech Republic and teach was the Job Fair, when many local language schools come to present and collect CVs, often hiring TEFL graduates on the spot!!! Most TEFL grads are employed within the first week after graduation while others choose to travel around Europe afterwards and start work after their travels. It all depends on you and what you prefer. As for the course: when you attend, you will see firsthand the extraordinary quality of teacher training at this school. Both Kenny and Adrienne, the main teacher trainers, have about 40 years in combined experience from teaching and it shows in their demo lessons. Kenny has taught all over Europe, including Italy, while Adrienne has taught in Asia, including South Korea. The teacher trainers are completely professional and personable. They are there to help and provide guidance for you to be the best teacher you can be. I advise to take notes on all the grammar presented as there will be a grammar test at the end of the course, before graduation. It truly feels like the TEFL Worldwide Prague alumni are a family and the amount of assistance provided by the teacher trainers after graduation is unlimited. You can always go back to the office and ask them for assistance or ask the lovely secretary, Tereza, for help on Czech Republic-related issues and questions. There is often an opportunity for you to work at TEFL Worldwide yourself as a language teacher. I had the privilege of teaching two night classes to Czech students on Wednesdays and Thursdays for a half a year and I had a blast doing it. I can't describe enough how grateful I am for TEFL Worldwide Prague. I wouldn't be here living my dream if it wasn't for them. It is also worth mentioning that I have met some life-long friends from the course who still live here in Prague and whom I am now tied to the hip. And now soon I will be working on my MTESOL degree online to continue being a better foreign language teacher and I have received help from TEFL Worldwide to procure a recommendation for my MTESOL program. They are truly always here to help YOU. You will also find there is a sense of pride with your TEFL class. When you meet TEFL grads of previous courses or new graduates, there will be friendly debate of whose class was the best. I made the course on 2010. It is a really great experience if you're looking to get your certificate in a real, no-time wasting way; they focus on the really important things, they have great teachers and also, they help you through the entire process, from finding a place, stores, taking the metro to getting a job and interviews. Also, they help you after the course in case you need recommendation letters, job guidance, etc. It´s really worth it. For me, it's been great having my certificate since I can look for better paid jobs. Also, it´s quick and affordable.

Getting my TEFL certificate at TEFL Worldwide was an amazing experience. It was incredibly intense and we were really thrown in at the deep end as we were expected to teach in our first week but by the end of the course I felt completely and utterly ready to teach in the real world. Kenny and Adrienne are absolutely incredible teachers and were always there to support us all during our time at TEFL Worldwide. I made lots of fabulous friends and had a job set up within 3 days of finishing the course. I've now been living in Prague for 3 months and have learned a huge amount about the art of teaching English as a foreign language and also about myself as a person. I decided very last minute to enrol on the course, and although the website itself is very informative, both Cheryl and Emily were more than happy to answer any questions I had. I completed the TEFL program in October and I had a phenomenal experience. The instructors and staff go above and beyond for the needs of their students. I actually feel that the instructors, (which were Kenny and Adrienne) were over worked. I can honestly say that they were the best educators I have ever had and the knowledge that they gave me I will use throughout my life. Before taking this course, I taught at a preschool for 6 years. With that being said, this 4 week course taught me invaluable skills that I can bring straight to the classroom (in the US and abroad) There is no wasted time in this program. No 'busy work'. Everything the instructors say and assign are apart of a bigger picture. I will not lie and say this course is 'easy' it's the most intensive course I've ever completed. All nighters are inevitable but totally worth it!

I really enjoyed my time learning at TEFL Worldwide Prague. The teachers, especially Kenny and Adrienne, were fantastic. I'm happy I chose this program to earn my TEFL certificate. This program is NOT for people who don't want to work hard. They will do everything they can to help you be successful, but you don't get a certificate for just showing up. It was not unusual for my classmates and myself to be hard and work all day and late into the night (some, I'm pretty sure, did not sleep). However, I was still able to enjoy living in Prague and got to see a lot of the city. This program is a commitment, but if you are willing to work hard it really pays off. My only criticism (more of a suggestion really) is that week two of the program be split into two weeks, making the program five weeks instead of four. Now, this will probably never happen, because that would mean less classes a year, less money blah blah blah... but I will warn all future students that week two is brutal! Just don't plan to do anything but work that week. That being said, I would go through this program again and I am very happy with the results.

I completed my TEFL certificate course during the spring of 2015 and can truly say it changed my life. It was one of the best and most courageous steps I've taken in my professional life. TEFL Worldwide Prague was an amazing program to start this journey with. I've felt supported by the teachers and administration through my whole teaching journey and really appreciate the help that they provide to alumni. It shows great follow-through and commitment on their part. I felt that for a month long course I got so much education and confidence out of it. I felt well prepared to enter the classroom as a teacher on my own and especially had developed skills of curriculum development. I absolutely recommend this program and would do it again in a heartbeat. I've recommended it to my own closest friends and family as well.

From the application to the graduation, they help you every step of the way with adjusting to the culture, learning some basic Czech, and-of course-preparing you to be an English teacher. When I graduated, I truly felt confident going into job interviews and presenting my skills. Every single interviewer said they wanted to hire graduates from this program. It is challenging for sure, but it does everything you need to be ready for the adventure of teaching English abroad. There's a lot to take in, in four weeks. The work is constant, and teaching can be somewhat scary BUT the reward, the support, the information are all there. It was an amazing time. One I won't soon forget.

I took the TEFL course in July 2016 and it was an extremely rewarding experience. The instructors and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and supportive. I met some really amazing people during my time here and although it was definitely tough, it was worth it. We were thrown right into it and began teaching real students just a few days into the course. The course definitely gave us all the tools necessary to teach English learners of all levels. Although I didn't have previous teaching experience, since completing the course, I feel comfortable and ready to teach. I'm grateful for all the opportunities that this certificate opens for me and I can't wait to get out there teach around the world. Master teachers, much to learn, skills I have never used before, lots of work but fun at the same time, recommended for old and young alike, would do it again without question, difficult to imagine how it could have been better.

Last year I finished my Bachelors degree in Science. After 4 long years of studying I was exhausted and in need of a change. I took a chance and applied at TEFL WorldWide Prague. I have to say that this was one of the best experiences I have ever had. Not only did I grow professionally learning extremely useful skills for teaching but personally as well. This experience taught me that I could succeed even in a foreign country. My confidence after this course has flourished. The instructors and administration staff are amazing. They are always there to help at EVERY step of the way. Even after the course, they provide you with numerous contacts which is a definite help when you are looking for a job abroad. After the course, I moved to Poland and taught in a small town of Kielce. Every school I was interviewed at would immediately compliment my proper training skills and I would hear "Wow, they really must have trained you well for someone with no prior teaching experience". So I can truly say that my experience was a success and I was able to accomplish everything I had set out to do. My Experience overall with the course was really great especially coming from so far to enter a new country for the first time was nerve wrecking. With the help of the team they were very assisting and helpful through my entire journey. I took the TEFL Worldwide Prague course in summer 2015, and I have taught in Taiwan and now teach English in Tokyo. Learning how to teach English at TEFL Worldwide Prague was one of the best experiences I have ever had. I stumbled upon TEFL Worldwide Prague while looking for a TEFL program in Europe. At first I thought it was too good to be true. Once I arrived in Prague I knew that I was getting way more for my money. The teachers are amazing, they help you every step of the way to ensure that when you leave you are well prepared for teaching. Not only are the teachers great, but they are experts in what they do! Making the leap to live and work abroad is not only exciting, but very intimidating and daunting. TEFL worldwide made me forget about all those intimidations and fears by helping me become part of a community and TEFL family. After the course I felt 100% comfortable and ready to teach English. This was probably the hardest but most rewarding 4 weeks of my life. This course pushes and challenges you in every way but its totally worth it. You're thrown in right at the deep end a lot is expected of you. However Kenny, Adrienne, Emily and Andrew provide you with all the knowledge, support and tools you need to help you achieve all you're capable of - can't thank them enough and emphasise how brilliant they are. Equal thanks go to the admin staff, who go out of their way to help you with housing, visas for those who need, general calming down if - or when - you're freaking out, and anything else you might need. In all, the four weeks of ridiculously hard work pays off - just listening to the experiences of other graduates makes you realise how many opportunities are open to you once you take this course. I only graduated a week a go and have already had multiple interviews and job offers. If you want a challenge, to take yourself out of your comfort zone and to travel then DO IT - you'll be doing so in an environment with all the support you need and surrounded by a group of like-minded individuals who are all in the same boat as you!

I loved my time doing my TEFL program in Prague. It was a lot of work but it was so rewarding! I had the the chance to work with first rate teachers and be able to actually teach Czech students. Kenny and Adrienne are extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and they will thoroughly prepare you to be able to teach English as a second language. Living in the heart of Europe was not so bad either. I cannot recommend this program enough!

I completed this course in January / February 2016. I was apprehensive before signing up and didn't really know what to expect. I must say, it turned out to be one of the best experiences I've had in life! The teachers are fantastic and you can be 100% confident in their commitment to you and your success. What you learn on the course isn't only restricted to being a teacher, the applicability of what you learn in communication skills has many dimensions. As a bonus you'll meet some lovely people and likely make some international friends for life. Expect some hard work, but if that doesn't bother you then just go do it because you won't regret it.

I had an amazing experience during my 4 weeks at TEFL Worldwide in Prague! The trainers and all members of the staff are extremely helpful and always make themselves available to answer any questions. I truly do believe that I am well prepared for any sort of English teaching situation that I may come across in the future. Without taking this course, I have no idea how I would ever successfully become an English teacher. There is so much practical experience you obtain during the course and plenty of simple formulas and methods that allow you to break down what you are teaching and make your teaching more easily received/understood. Because of this course I knew exactly how to have a great interview, prepare lesson plans, teach grammar, and I increased my knowledge and awareness of the English language more than tenfold! Going to TEFL Worldwide was a great decision and an amazing experience!

The TEFL worldwide program in Prague was so much more than I expected it to be. It was a truly amazing experience which certainly prepares you to be a great TEFL teacher. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this program. I have to say before I came over I was super skeptical. I mean, come on, I was about to quit my job, sell everything I own and say goodbye to everything I've ever known. After talking to past graduates, coordinators and the owner of the school I made the leap. And wooh am I glad that I did. This program is life changing, tear jerking, stressful and challenging in all kinds of ways but it is 1000% percent worth it. The people I met (my new support system and family of other TEFL students), the teachers and everyone that worked at the school were so incredibly supportive, helping you with anything you would need. I remember walking back to the Villa (student apartments) on the third day of class starting to write my review in my head. I was so awestruck by how much fun Kenny and Adrienne made the classes. They would teach us a lesson (which we wouldn't even realize because it was so interactive/fun/entertaining) and then teach us how to do it ourselves. Kenny and Adrienne really are phenomenal in every way and to this day are available if we have any questions, need advice, etc. Adrienne even met up with our TEFL grad group a few weeks after the program for a fellow alum's bday. They're beyond teachers, they are mentors and friends. I won't say the program isn't challenging, because it is. And it requires a LOT of effort on your part. But hey, isn't that why you're paying the money? So you can travel the world and use your very own innate skill of the English language as a career for the rest of your life. It's incredible once you finish and it's totally worth the work. As stated on other reviews, I feel completely confident in my abilities as an EFL teacher and it is all due to TEFL Worldwide. The very first week (working business day even) I got a job and then a second one the next day. The demand for English teachers is outrageous here, so come find out for yourself! What a crazy, intense, and busy four weeks! I worked harder during my four weeks at TEFL Worldwide than I can remember doing during any other 4 week period of my life, and I wouldn't change a thing. I went into my TEFL course with basically zero teaching skills, and when I completed the course four weeks later I felt confident in my ability to teach students. There are so many benefits to this course, but chief among them are the hands on practical time that you get to spend teaching actual students and the help that the instructors of the course are able to offer you. The instructors are so knowledgeable and passionate about what they do, and I really felt like they went the extra mile to help me succeed in the course. Not only that, but they have continued to be a resource for me in the weeks since I have graduated and gone on to start work as a teacher. In my time spent teaching since I graduated, I have become even more confident that I made the right choice in getting my certification at TEFL Worldwide Prague and look forward to being apart of their extensive alumni community.

I had an amazing experience at TEFL Worldwide Prague! The teachers were amazing and so helpful! I had started taking an online course before I decided on coming to Prague and attending TEFL Worldwide. I ended up not finishing the online course as I found it pretty useless and felt that I needed to take an actual in-class course. I am so glad that I did! The online courses are just not enough. The course at TEFL Worldwide is intense and it is a lot of work but it is worth it. I felt extremely prepared and excited to get started teaching English and found work almost immediately after. Not only did the teachers and support staff help me during the course but they continue to offer support and help when needed after the course has finished. In addition to gaining valuable knowledge through the course I have also gained some amazing friendships! I would highly recommend this course to anyone.

The best experience that I've ever had since I came to Prague, so much passion and dedication that made me love one of the most hardest jobs , the staff was great beyond any words, they showed me what does it mean to be a teacher by all means, they gave us the methods and made us practice it through out the course. The classes were great clean and nicely organized that made it easy to move around or deliver a good lesson,

Hi All, I graduated from TEFL Worldwide in September 2013. I am still in Prague and am loving living internationally. It is a broken record with many of these TEFL reviews, but if you are on the fence about packing up and moving abroad, do it. I shocked my boss and colleagues when I decided to quit my comfortable job of 3 years back in the States to move abroad and it was the best decision of my life. The world is becoming more international and to stay ahead of the game you need the first hand education and experience of being abroad. I taught full time in Prague for about 10 months then pursued a career that allowed me to travel more and increase my experience with international business. I still teach part time because I enjoy it and I really appreciate my long-term students. I initially chose TEFL Worldwide because of the online reviews :) But I found out that it really was one of the top, if not the top TEFL school in Prague. (Trying to keep biases at bay). The administration is super helpful. The instructors are fantastic. They really care about making you succeed as a teacher. If you really listen to them, you will develop the tools necessary to become an effective TEFL teacher. It will not be easy, developing implies that you will stumble. But they make the learning process as fun and enjoyable as it can be. I look back very fondly on my TEFL days and have annual reunions at Cortez(!) with those in my course who are still in Prague. It is shocking the bonds you will make with strangers in 4 weeks. So do it. Have fun, work hard, and break away from the norm. And when you get to Prague, look up the Prague Hibernians Gaelic Football Club! We are always accepting new members and total beginners! ;) Trevor

I graduated from the course in Dec 2015. Right from the start, I was welcomed by the staff and shown to my apartment. Every question I had about Prague was quickly answered and they were very enthusiastic about me getting out and experiencing the city. They did, however, make it a point to stress to me the intensity that is the course and boy were they right! Lots of work but oh so worth it! This is the most prepared I've felt for anything! The instructors, Kenny and Adrienne, are SO knowledgeable! Any and every question I had, be it about teaching in the Czech Republic or elsewhere, was always THOROUGHLY answered. They are super approachable and we ended up just sharing stories about our travels. I'm still blown away by the amount of feedback i received from my lessons. In addition to Kenny and Adrienne, Andrew and Emily reviewed our teaching sessions - two more amazing people from the TEFL Worldwide Prague family that really know their stuff. The feedback isn't sugar coated, something I really appreciated, and you find out immediately after your lesson what you did well and what you did ok... and sometimes what you absolutely butchered ^^ I can't stress enough how great this course is. All the support you need to succeed is there. All that's left is for you to DO IT. It was a great learning experince. A lot more challenging than I expected, but I am glad it was. Because now i feel better prepared to go out and teach. We recieved teaching experience and very helpful feedback. The staff are wonderful and you can clearly see that they have tons of experience teaching. I highly recommend this course.

This is the place to go if you're looking for a Tefl certification. The instructors are knowledgeable, fun, and relateable. The staff are always on hand to help with questions about lesson planning, or on things to do in and around the city. There's a lot of work, but it's manageable. There's still room for free time in the city if you're good about getting things done. I would recommend this course to anyone. Prague is a really affordable city, the school and housing is close to a supermarket, places to eat, and a metro station. The teachers want you to be successful, and the best part is walking away with a certificate that opens up job opportunities worldwide.

The TEFL program here is great, but hard work. Be prepared to study hard, ask a lot of questions, have fun and maybe go a little crazy. The instructors are amazing! Very open learning. The instructors are there for you 100%, during and after class... And even after the program ends. The reception staff are equally amazing, going above and beyond to help with just about anything you need.

I got my certificate in December 2012. Before I decided to take the course in Prague, I had been teaching already, but I wanted to get further qualification. Even though I had been teaching EFL nearly all my adult life, I figured that what TEFL Worldwide Prague had to offer suited my interests in becoming better qualified in my teaching career. In more pragmatic terms, I needed to learn what it took to be accepted as an English teacher in various schools around the world. All my experience and even my college degree in English did not seem sufficient to me. The TEFL course in Prague helped me to confirm that some of my old beliefs were appropriate for teaching. However, I knew there would be a lot of new paradigms and principles ahead of me that a good language teacher cannot do without. Furthermore, I felt I needed people I could trust to assess and evaluate me as a professional. Throughout the whole course, I was gradually assured that all of the input provided would turn out to be satisfactory output, to say the least. Theory and assisted practice were made equally available. In Brazil, in order to be regarded as qualified for teaching EFL, a teacher does not need a lot more than institutional training in most cases. This can mean that a college degree is often considered an advantage in comparison, since in this case you have a diploma officially accredited by the Brazilian Ministry of Education, which does not necessarily mean you can speak English just because you have earned one. This diploma in my country serves mere bureaucratic purposes, I may safely claim. For obvious reasons, my degree in English has never fully satisfied me. And I have always wanted more than only experience. Being considered capable of teaching English elsewhere had become my major target when I decided to apply for the TEFL course in Prague, back in 2012. Other than the school itself, I was positively surprised to see that my peers were great to hang around with, share ideas and difficulties with, and face the whole challenge with. Everyone was very supportive. Besides, I had a roommate who eventually became a good friend with whom I still keep in touch. On top of all that, Prague is really a fantastic city with an incredibly friendly and hospitable people. Needless to say, I miss the days I experienced with everyone in the Magic City. Recently I received my TEFL certification from Teflworldwide Prague in September, 2015. We I first landed, I wasn't sure where I would go with it or what I could actually end up doing. I started in Prague because well, it's Prague. The city is incredible! The accommodations we were given were great and the greeting staff was so welcoming and helpful. The location is a metro ride away from the center, but far enough away to not distract you during your busy month of fast paced lesson planning, grammar lessons and student teaching. It may be daunting to keep reading that the work load is heavy and difficult, but it's really quite manageable, especially if you become close with your fellow classmates! On top of that, the Instructors Kenny and Adrienne are super helpful and willing to answer any questions you have. They are clearly knowledgable and come with a great deal of experience that helps you feel more comfortable with the transition to moving abroad. The office staff Becky and Teresa are extremely helpful and available to answer any questions you have, from where to get medicine to the best places to eat. Now, I am currently living in Budapest, Hungary working at an International School. (Usually to work at an International/Public School here you need a degree in Education- just so you don't think this will be all you need) However, it's extremely helpful and noticed by employers. Not only that, but it has helped me with lessons and methods in the classroom that help me connect to each student. Anywhere you go, people want Native Speakers. It's really a unique advantage you probably have, so use it! If you are looking for a TEFL certification course, this is the one to take. My experience abroad would be extremely difficult and probably much shorter without it. You make life long friends and receive incredible connections and resources and learn so much about the English Language and probably yourself. Best of luck... and take the course!

I began my living abroad dream with TEFL Worldwide Prague. It is hands down the best decision I have ever made! The certificate I obtained from them has allowed me to live out my dream and live in Prague for the last year. Teaching English wasn't my goal, just the track to get me living in new and exciting parts of the world. Now I've found though that I really do love teaching English, and TEFL Worldwide had a lot to do with that. The teachers are extremely passionate and caring, and the whirlwind program can be super stressful at times but does absolutely prepare you to go and teach even if you have no prior experience (which I did not). Making the move to a foreign country is daunting no matter how committed you are, but TEFL Worldwide made it infinitely easier because in them I found a family. In fact I still live now with two of the ladies I met on my course. If you are thinking of taking this course to follow your dreams I say do it! Now! You won't find a better, more supportive group of people to prepare you for your new adventure.

I completed the TEFL Certificate Course through TEFL Worldwide Prague in June on 2015. Before making the decision to go abroad and try to teach English to support my travels, I was very worried about finding a good job, knowing my way around the industry, and generally learning to cope with a completely new living situation. The TEFL Worldwide Prague administration was there for me every step of the way. Before arriving I received so much helpful information and support in the form of emails, phone calls, and reference literature that I felt better about getting started right off the bat. For every question I had, there was a caring and involved person to answer me and reassure me, and I was never once mislead or let down. For anyone thinking of teaching to travel, getting certified is an excellent first move. It really makes you more attractive to employers and on top of that, you sign yourself up for a strong network of new friends, former teachers, current teachers, and instructors all over the world. All of the administration and instructors are knowledgeable, helpful, fun, kind, and most of all, they believe in you. They really want to do whatever they can to help you out. It's not just a teacher mill. More importantly, the education and practical skills you hone are truly of value. I have never taught a day in my life, and after four weeks, I was confident standing in front of a room of people who could understand a minimal amount of English to guide them through learning new skills themselves. Every lesson is made up of two parts, a demo lesson and a traditional one. This means that instead of just being shown the techniques and practicing them, you also get the chance to experience them first hand, which is beyond helpful as you plan your own lessons. Prague is wonderful, a great place to see with so much to do. It's a great gateway to Western and Eastern Europe, and the Czech Republic itself is gorgeous and has so much to discover. I know that most reviews you read about teaching overseas are overwhelmingly good, because I was skeptical right up until a week into classes. But truly, having the certificate is a great move, choosing TEFL Worldwide Prague to get it is the best move you'll make.

I actually research over a dozen TEFL programs before I decided on TEFL Worldwide Prague. It was the 2nd one I found, and I kept finding myself coming back to it. It was such a great decision because I truly enjoyed the experience and found it very rewarding. It's really unreal to think you could be a certified English teacher in just 30 days, but after going through the program you will be MORE than prepared. Kenny & Adrienne are fantastic teachers and you can tell that they really want all of their students to succeed. Not only are Kenny and Adrienne great, the whole staff is wonderful. Most of them have been in the student position and are always there to talk if you need. One of the best parts is the alumni network. You can go pretty much anywhere in the world and you will find a TEFL Worldwide Graduate. That's pretty awesome if you ask me. The location of the school is only a 10 minute metro ride to the center of the city. There are so many other beautiful surrounding areas of Prague to explore. It is sincerely my home away from home and I couldn't have been happier about my experience.

It is an intense 4 weeks but it will prepare you so well for every job around the world. And the friends you meet from all over will support you in and outside of the classroom. This experience has given me so many new job opportunities as well as continuously inspiring me to enjoy living abroad. Now I am living in place that mesmerizes me every time I look out my window. TEFL Worldwide also connects you to their vast network of alumni across the globe, so if you don’t want to stay in Prague you can teach in a multitude of other places. Prague is an excellent community to start off in though because of their support network, and the city is beautiful place historically and culturally diverse from any other city I have ever seen. Whether you meet other TEFL graduates at the monthly pub nights in Prague, or have a reliable contact to begin teaching on another continent, their network of graduates are there to support you. I am forever happy with my decision to get my TEFL certificate with TEFL Worldwide Prague!

If you are considering moving abroad and are unsure of where to go..... Go to TEFL Worldwide! You will not regret it! I am so thankful that I went for my dream and moved to Prague. Prague is with out a doubt one of the most beautiful places I've been to. The people are great, and the expenses are even better (super cheap). I've also been able to travel to other places! In the two months since I've moved here, I have traveled to Ireland, Austria, and Hungary!! Everywhere is very close and easy to travel to. In regards to TEFL Worldwide- it is absolutely amazing! It was empowering to have completed such a difficult course. I was very nervous when I first started the course, I was unsure of what to expect. They have you teaching by the second day! But, the staff was beyond helpful and they answered any question I had. The teachers, Kenny and Adrienne are two of the best teachers I've ever had. They are so hand on and helpful, and they're truly masters at showing how to be a great teacher. I learned so much more during the course than I ever thought I could. Everything I gained is helping me in the real world of teaching in Prague. Do not doubt whether or not you should choose TEFL Worldwide!! I could not have had a better midlife crisis than the decision to leave a very good job and my family in Canada to move to Prague and take the TEFL worldwide program. It was very intense but I had a great support group and fellow students to help me. Working as a teacher is so much more fulfilling than anything I have done before. If you are considering taking this course- just do it!!!! You will not regret it!

I have been tutoring English in the U.S. for eight but really wanted to learn how to teach classes of students abroad. I chose Prague because it's a wonderful city yhat I wanted to visit anyway, and this program because it packed what I wanted into one month. It was very challenging, and I worked much harder than I had anticipated. My teachers, Kenny and Adrienne, were excellent--always well prepared, experienced, and they modeled how to teach in a compelling and reflective manner. Although, as a native English speaker, I know my grammar to my bones, I have had difficulty explaining why something is wrong. The program spent a lot of time clarifying how to teach grammar in a solidm methodical and logical way. I now understand my own language better than ever, but also feel confident I can teach it to any English learner. I really feel I accomplished something valuable to me personally--I can master something new and challenging as well as youner students-- and also can offer good English teaching to my pupils, individuallt and in classes.

I have so much to thank TEFL Worldwide for. I arrived in Prague excited to experience life in Europe and the opportunity to travel, but got so much more! The course was exactly what I needed to not only gain the proper knowledge to teach, but also to gain confidence in my overall ability to talk in front of others, speak my mind, and to be more present in each moment.
