I feel lucky to have Georgie as my trainner, who has been giving me lots of teaching techniques, approaches, lesson plan ideas etc, as well as helping me through fixing problems about the admistrative stuffs. One of the things I learnt from her is how to instruct English grammar clearly and interestingly, which indeed helped me a lot in motivating my students to be more interested in my grammar classes, and feel more confident in speaking English. Her energy in teaching TEFL is also amazing. Though the course is lenghty and difficult, you never get bored since she always has lots of fun activities, hooks, pacemakers in class. Thus, as a student in TEFL course, you are actually fully immersed in a learning environment like ESL learning environment where you not only learn knowledge and teaching skills but get chace to be like a student, feel how student feel when learning from Georgie. I had the best experience of my life with teachers friend. Georgie assisted me from the moment I signed up, answering every question possible, helping me find accommodation, visa assistance and so much more. I was so privileged to have Georgie as my TEFL instructor. She is amazing. It’s not only how well she knows what she’s teaching, it’s the way she can adjust and customize the games and teaching tools for the lesson’s objectives and make the lesson both educational and fun. I learned so much from her. I loved how she put the theory into practice and provided me with a safe space to practice myself and gave a detailed feedback on what went well and what could’ve gone better. Unfortunately, I did not do my booking through Teacher's Friend, but I defintely wished I had. During my course I faced different challenges that helped me grow as a teacher and prepared me for what I’ll be faced with during actual classes in the future. I learned a lot and for every difficulty I had my amazing trainer guiding me, supporting me and explaining to me how to navigate the situation. It helped me find my own voice as a teacher.

I’m so happy and so proud of myself for takin a TEFL course in Bali, Indonesia. IT was an incredible and exciting adventure into the world of practical pedagogy. I had a great time working both as a team with my fellow students and on my own under the responsive guidance of our instructor Georgie, who helped greatly along the way. With her help my lesson planning was much smoother. She was always there to answer my questions about planning and giving her best advice on how to make each step of my lesson more productive and successful. I really enjoyed the activities in the class and how practical the course was. It helped a lot to see Georgie model the activities first and then try it myself right away in the classroom. By the end of each day had learnt many new ways to manage kids and help them practice English. Moreover, I learned so many useful teaching techniques, e.g. eliciting, error correction, how to give instructions and check students’ understanding etc. I found this course extremely helpful and it has totally changed the way I will teach children in future.

I completed the TEFL course in Bali in April/May. Right from the start our trainer, Georgie, made us all feel at home and at ease. Her teaching approaches are practical, useful and applicable for when I was on teaching practise. She could not have done more for me, even on her days off she was available to answer emails or text messages about lesson planning, assignments and job applications. It made the experience easy and enjoyable. I felt very prepared for teaching practise and teaching in general by the end of the course. The other students were also helpful and supportive which lead to close bonds of friendships growing between the class. Overall, I had a great time from start to finish and would recommend it to anyone hoping to complete the TEFL course.

My experience with Teacher's Friend has been amazing! Right off the bat, Georgie was available and willing to meet any time to help me along. She's been incredibly prompt and has challenged me to get the most out of this course. Though I have not yet finished, I am nearing the end and cannot be more satisfied with my experience. I tried a few of the more popular ESL options available and my experiences range from being either ignored or being told I don't meet their criteria because of my passport. Meeting with Georgie was such a humanizing experience. Georgie helped make my ESL journey feel like an adventure instead of a chore. The TESOL program and Georgie's feedback helped me challenge myself and discover new talents. I'm really glad I joined. TFV provides a unique and personal experience, at no point during the program did I feel like a number in somebody's daily quota. Georgie helped me explore all of my options for working and living in Vietnam. She advised me on which locations and schools would be best suited to me as a first time teacher. She also gave me some great notes on my cover letter and CV which were key in helping me find the right opportunity. Once we found her website and watched a few of her videos we knew we would contact her for advice on our trip to Vietnam and we weren't disappointed.
