Educators can teach English in Indonesia in one of the country’s private language institutes. Teaching English in Indonesia will usually mean working with students of all ages, from young children to adults. Teaching in Indonesia requires a Bachelor’s degree. Teachers are also encouraged to have a TEFL certificate before applying to increase their competitiveness and possibly qualify for higher monthly salaries.
