Founded in 1992, Summerbridge Hong Kong is a non-profit organization that creates unique educational opportunities for highly motivated but socioeconomically underprivileged secondary school students. We provide comprehensive year-round programs to develop their English communication, self-confidence, and interest in learning through an intensive English Language Development curriculum, small class size, individual mentoring, and hands-on learning strategies. 

Each summer, they are immersed in an intense five-week, English-only environment, learning under the guidance of a group of international student teachers from local and overseas high schools and universities. The uniqueness of the program results from our "students teaching students" model, offering older participants the opportunity to teach and administer programs to younger students in a dynamic learning environment.
