After completing the 1-Year Program in Culinary Arts or Baking and Pastry Certificates, Study Abroad in Europe students may choose to continue their studies in the two-year associate certificate, which is about the theories and practical knowledge of Culinary Arts.

The subject of culinary arts will be examined from an advanced perspective in terms of cooking techniques and preparations, scientific notions of nutrition and food knowledge, near areas such as cooking light and international cuisine will offer a more expansive and exciting approach to food and to the managerial prospective of restaurant principles.

Each semester, students will be actively involved in the culinary internship. Students who wish to enroll in the second year must submit a detailed curriculum vitae specifying any professional experience in the field for at least six months and, upon arrival in Florence, qualify for the level with an entry exam.
