Summer Program in Spain with Seville Abroad

First, I would like to thank Pepa Hernandez and Seville Abroad for the amazing experience I had this past spring. I spent second semester of my junior year living in Sevilla, Spain. I believe Seville Abroad is the best program I could have chosen and encourage any prospective student to use this incredible organization. Not only does Sevilla Abroad offer more amenities, like Spanish classes, extra curricular activities, and day trips around Andalusia, than other abroad programs, but they really get to know you as on the personal level. If I needed anything at all, I didn't hesitate to ask Pepa (Head coordinator) and she was always so helpful! She was like my second mom over in Spain. Even with the great Host Families, it's nice to have someone else that you can rely on. This program is extremely personalized, which is quite different than the array of other high school programs. I had a great experience at school as well. I felt confident entering the classroom after an orientation and encouragement from all of the administration and adults around me. My classmates were so kind and inclusive, I made the best friends while in Spain! I improved my Spanish skills in the classroom environment and was pushed to try my hardest by the hardworking staff. Seville Abroad offers the perfect program, whether it be for a year, 6 months, or a couple of weeks. They are accommodating in every aspect of the process, they even paid me a visit in my home town a few months before my departure! From a former student's perspective, I truly believe that Seville Abroad is the best way to spend your exchange in Spain. I had the experience of a lifetime and cherish my time spent abroad. Seville Abroad care so much about their students, its feels like a family!

I have never been out of the US before I took part in this program. It taught me to expand my horizons and the fun there can be in experiencing new cultures. The family I stayed with were really hospitable and they made sure to include me in their traditions and make my experience unique! We visited places like the Roman coliseum and the town festival on the weekends. Exploring the different cities was incredible to me especially with their cobblestone streets and unique architecture.

This program is an amazing opportunity to meet new people from many other countries and to improve your Spanish at the same time. Seville is a beautiful city with an impressive subway system that helps you see all the sights. All the host families were amazing and the other students in the program were all very motivated to improve their Spanish. If you are thinking of going abroad, I would recommend Seville Abroad.
