Our Mountain Adventure program begins on the bustling streets of Kathmandu, where you’ll see temples and monuments. Then, you’ll hike to remote villages for homestays in communities where you’ll be immersed in their daily life. Tackle service projects, learn Nepali dances, play soccer with the kids, and see amazing landscapes at every turn. This is the perfect program for students ages 15-19 with an adventurous spirit!
Program Highlights
Experience whitewater rafting down the Trishuli River and enjoy being in the isolated nature of beautiful Nepal.
Visit Rayale, based in Kabhrepalanchok District, to meet with the village head and visit the houses of local community members to see how they live and what their daily routine is like.
Put on your service shoes while in Rayale and dig into ongoing projects, including building protection for the clean water source in the valley to ensure safe drinking water for the people.
Go trekking and experience typical Nepali hospitality while enjoying amazing natural scenery – including panoramic sunrise views over several mesmerizing snow-capped mountains.
Experience rustic life in the mountains, and then head back to Kathmandu to enjoy the city.
