Program Overview
Empower women and youth in Uganda through a hands-on Women’s Empowerment Internship. Support local initiatives that build sustainable livelihoods and foster economic independence.
Interns work directly with community groups, women-led microenterprises, and youth programs, gaining practical experience in entrepreneurship, vocational training, and financial literacy. You’ll support income-generating projects, strengthen Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs), and document impact stories that highlight women’s empowerment in action.
This internship is flexible and tailored to your interests and skills. You can focus on areas like microenterprise development, vocational skills training, financial literacy workshops, market research, or youth engagement. Outside the internship, explore Ugandan culture, connect with community leaders, and experience vibrant local markets, making this an immersive and meaningful experience.
