What is the climate like in Cape Town?

Cape Town enjoys a Mediterranean climate with mild, wet winters and warm, dry summers. While the city experiences four distinct seasons, it's known for its changeable weather, often offering "four seasons in one day". When choosing the dates to begin your internship keep in mind that summer in Cape Town typically starts in December and lasts until February and Winter begins in June and ends in August (the opposite of the northern hemisphere!).
