Your role as an intern will be to guide and support volunteers on their expedition. You’ll be responsible for ensuring volunteers deliver the project aims as well as monitoring and coaching them to help with their personal development.

You'll hone leadership and youth development skills, gain insight into sustainable community development, and improve your volunteer coordination and project management abilities.

What are the main requirements for this internship?

Requirements include the ability to lead a team of young people, flexibility and adaptability in challenging environments, and openness to living and working in rural remote locations. You also have to be at least 25 years old.

How many volunteers will I be managing, and what support can I expect?

You’ll manage a group of around 14 international young people, along with at least one other Project Coordinator. You’ll also receive assistance from in-country teams on safety and project delivery.
