Photography Internship in South Africa or Costa Rica
Program Overview
This is a unique opportunity to gain experience as a photographer as you travel across incredible destinations with young volunteers and document their transformative expedition.
This program places you with an organization that arranges service-orientated expeditions for young people to gain life skills and confidence. These trips revolve around volunteer work for sustainability and community development causes. The goal of the organization is to provide young people with transformative experiences where they can learn global citizenship and leadership skills.
Your job as an intern will be to accompany volunteers on these expeditions and capture the most magical moments with your camera. You’ll play an important role in communicating the impact of these expeditions for both the volunteers and the causes they serve and gain real-world experience as a jobbing photographer. This will train you in vital career skills such as working to briefs, devising ideas for photo ops, and managing equipment.
