MSc Level Conservation Research Internship in South Africa
by: Roots Interns
This is an advanced program for graduates and master’s students of Wildlife Biology, Ecology, Conservation Science, or related fields who are ready to use their research skills to further conservation science. This is your chance to contribute to meaningful research projects in South Africa’s largest wildlife reserve, the Greater Kruger National Park. You’ll join a research center based in Olifants West Nature Reserve, a Big Five area of the Greater Kruger Park, and work as part of a small but accomplished ecological conservation organization. This organization responds to diverse ecological crises and issues from poaching to vegetation control. The underlying objective of all the organization's projects is to help reserve management and ecology enthusiasts make decisions informed by scientific evidence. Research projects vary across the year, but the center typically has multiple research projects active, so you’ll have a choice of programs to get involved in.
