Take on the exciting role of a fundraising and communications intern with a registered South African nonprofit working with local communities to address local pressing social issues such as youth empowerment, gender equality, climate resilience, and access to justice. You will be at the forefront of real change as you develop proposals, fundraising campaigns, reporting, donor research, and impactful storytelling. With direct mentorships from experienced staff, you will support vulnerable communities through hands-on involvement.

Tasks will range between office-based work, fieldwork, and virtual activities, increasing potential for many career-specific skills.This fundraising and communications internship is available fully remote for those who would like to contribute from anywhere in the world. In-person involvement would add an extra layer of cultural enrichment between exposure to South Africa’s vibrant communities and natural landscapes if chosen to do so.
