Program Overview

Gain practical event planning and coordination experience as part of a nonprofit initiative in Ghana. It's a great opportunity to flex your organizational muscles, boost your résumé with international work experience, and contribute to an inspiring sports-focused charity.

You'll join a charity that offers sports coaching and mentorship to young people in underprivileged communities in and around Accra, Ghana's capital. As an event management intern, you'll help plan coaching sessions, basketballs camps, and mentorship meetings. If you're keen on coaching yourself, you'll also have a chance to get involved in teaching various sessions.

On top of this, you'll assist with planning and coordinating fundraising and promotional events, and - if you're keen - with the overall development of fundraising strategies.

The ideal candidate for this internship has a go-getter attitude, a passion for sports, and great organizational skills. If it sounds like the opportunity you’re looking for, we’d love to hear from you!
