You'll join a charity that offers sports coaching and mentorship to young people in underprivileged communities in and around Accra, Ghana's capital. As an event management intern, you'll help plan coaching sessions, basketballs camps, and mentorship meetings. If you're keen on coaching yourself, you'll also have a chance to get involved in teaching various sessions. On top of this, you'll assist with planning and coordinating fundraising and promotional events, and - if you're keen - with the overall development of fundraising strategies. The ideal candidate for this internship has a go-getter attitude, a passion for sports, and great organizational skills. Participants may choose to stay in a comfortable one-bedroom apartment with a kitchen, lounge, double bedroom, and bathroom or a homestay with a Ghanaian family and have their own bedroom, and be offered daily breakfast and dinner.

As an event management intern, your tasks may include planning and coordinating fundraising and promotional events, researching partners, developing funding models, and coaching sports and mentorship programs.
