I undertook a volunteer placement with Baladna Projects in 2013 assisting with coordinating community activities and excursions, and on environment and circular economy projects and initiatives. Living in Australia, spending time in Red Sea, with Baladna Projects was an amazing learning and experience. Thanks for the memories and valuable lessons taken. Ben.

My experience at Smith Collin’s Academy in Hurghada was definitely a positive one. My confidence in my teaching skills grew as well as my independence. The cultural experience alone of teaching students that are from all over the world and speaking different languages was an incredible experience. The staff at Smith Collin’s was also exemplary and some of the friendliest coworkers I’ve ever had. Overall, if you are looking for a good mixture of cultural experience and wanting to expand your teaching skills this is the internship program for you.

I worked with Suzanna Valle teaching art to children as well as English. Suzanna does an amazing job and has accomplished so much for the whole community. Her creative projects are amazing and what she is able to accomplish is close to a miracle. It was a wonderful experience and would love to work with them again.

I have always loved learning about other cultures and people. Egypt, with its old culture, language, and people, has fascinated me for a long time. I also always loved to travel, and I travelled for years after being in Egypt, after finishing my studies in Great Britain, and after leaving Austria in 2004.
