RisingSun Volunteers is an NGO based in Teshie Nungua, a community in Accra. The founders of this NGO have been working with volunteer organisations for many years and reside all over the world, Germany, Denmark, the UK and of course locally in Ghana.
We are a team that enjoys traveling, learning and developing. A team that doesn't just dream dreams, but brings them to life.
Having accumulated extensive experience through years of travel and collaboration with interns and volunteers, we bring valuable insights to establish our own volunteer organisation.
Our projects include but not limited to, Medical internships and volunteering, football coach volunteering, volunteering in schools and children centres, law firm , journalism amongst others.

I loved my experience volunteering in ghana. I worked in a school for 3 weeks, with small children ages 3-5. It was an experience of a lifetime. I also did trips to krokobite and boti falls, which I would recommend doing. The food was hard to get used to, but once you find something you like, it’s not so bad!

It was the best time in 2025 for me with wonderful people and and a lost expierience in the medical internship. The Organisation was perfect I recieved a lot of help at the placement. They organized trips for us at the Weekend !
