Dive into real world coral reef restoration with Reef Renewal Bonaire, a hands on internship based on the stunning island of Bonaire in the southern Caribbean. This program is perfect for (under)graduate students or recent graduates who want to turn their passion for the ocean into meaningful conservation action.

As an intern, you will work side by side with an experienced coral restoration team and be actively involved in protecting and rebuilding Bonaire’s reefs. Expect plenty of time in the water combined with education, outreach, and behind the scenes conservation work. No coffee making here, you are part of the team.

Interns assist with coral nursery maintenance, coral outplanting, and reef restoration dives, while also helping lead volunteer activities and support community outreach programs. You will help share the Foundation’s story by promoting ongoing projects and communicating conservation successes.
