During the internship, participants will likewise come into contact with many easily preventable diseases and illnesses, many of which are caused by malnutrition. Departments that interns may work in include general health services, orthopedics, ophthalmology, dental services, ENT, x-ray, ultrasound, and neurology. Participants can intern at a facility dedicated to the field of trauma, orthopedics, or rehabilitation. Alternatively, interns may be based at a leading center for the functional mobility of physically disabled children.
