Be part of the OGVO Slave Route Tour and experience the excitement of exploring a few of Africa’s undiscovered jewels! Witness an African hippo on a river safari, see a large collection of butterflies, and catch an African elephant herd passing right in front of you! Get the chance to sit on an African crocodile at Paga—if you dare! Gain wonderful and amazing experiences by diving into Ghana’s culture, ecology, and history. Program Highlights
Visit Independence square, the Arts Centre, Dubois Centre and the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum, and enjoy a lunch break at the National Museum.
Visit George Padmore Library on African Affairs, and then meet up with historians at the Dubois Centre for debates and discussions on Pan Africanism.
Visit the Cape Coast Castle, identified as a World Heritage monument by the UNESCO World Heritage Foundation.
Visit the Elmina Castle and Fort Jago, and experience the canopy walkway at Kakum National Park.
Visit Pikworo Slave market and crocodile ponds, as well as Manhyia Palace – the seat of the Ashanti kingdom.
