Spend a semester or academic year in Madrid, Spain, with AIFS Abroad! Earn up to 21 credits per semester (depending on program and course selection) studying abroad at Universidad Nebrija. Courses are taught in English and Spanish. Internships and volunteer opportunities are available for you to make the most of your semester in Madrid. Universidad Nebrija offers an Internship and Spanish Language Program for students with a high intermediate to advanced level of Spanish, combining Spanish language study with a practical work placement. You may be considered for a placement in the science or hospitality field if you have an intermediate level of Spanish. Volunteer opportunities are available through a local NGO. You’ll live in a homestay with a local family or in a single room in an apartment. Homestay students will receive two meals per day from their host family. Enjoy cultural and social activities such as: • Guided city tours • Visits to galleries and museums • Tapas tour • Day trips to El Escorial, Segovia, and Toledo • 3-day trip to Granada and the Basque Country • 2-day trip to Salamanca
