National Marine Life Center: Accepting Volunteers!

Join the National Marine Life Center (NMLC) to support the rehabilitation and release of stranded marine mammals and sea turtles. Volunteers are essential to the success of our mission, contributing to animal care, education, administration, fundraising, and facility maintenance. Volunteers gain hands-on experience, access to continuing education, discounts in the gift shop, and participation in appreciation events. Comprehensive training is provided, including virtual reading materials, quizzes, and on-site "shadow shift" training. Before proceeding with training and scheduling, volunteers must pay a Volunteer Training Fee of $35.00.
