Founded in 1971 in the United Kingdom, we at the National Animal Welfare Trust (NAWT) have been dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming companion animals for over five decades. With five centers across southern England—Hertfordshire, Essex, Berkshire, Cornwall, and Bedfordshire—we provide care for around 1,500 animals each year. Our mission is simple: to give every pet a second chance at a happy, loving home while promoting responsible pet ownership within our communities.
