Say No to Hunger: Feed Children & Families in Uganda
Program Overview
Every day, many children and families in rural Eastern Uganda face hunger caused by poverty, limited farming resources, and climate challenges. At My Shepherd Ministry Uganda, we believe that no child should have to learn on an empty stomach or miss opportunities because of food insecurity.
As a volunteer, you will work alongside local communities to promote sustainable agriculture, support family gardens, assist with food distribution when needed, and help educate families on nutrition and climate-smart farming practices. You may also engage with children through school feeding activities, mentorship, and community outreach.
This is more than a volunteer program—it is an opportunity to serve with compassion, build meaningful relationships, and contribute to long-term solutions that empower families to feed themselves. Your time, skills, and willingness to serve can help restore hope and improve lives while experiencing the rich culture and warm hospitality of Uganda.
